Character Advancement

Cheesy Munchkin Home"

All classes which are legal for character creation are also legal for character advancement.

Hit points and Vitality points per level are figured as 3/4 of your hit die, rounded up.
d4 -> 3
d6 -> 5
d8 -> 6
d10 -> 8
d12 -> 9
d20 (if you can find it) -> 15

All prestige classes from approved sources are legal, provided your character qualifies for them IN EVERY WAY. If there's a prestige class that requires an invitation, non-violent contact with a certain type of outsider, character death, or some other special that you can't meet through normal channels, please shoot me an e-mail and we'll work something out. The guiding spirit of the campaign is that nothing is impossible and everything is permissible - within certain tiny limitations. };-)>

Anytime you achieve an odd-numbered level, you may select a new feat from among those for which your character qualifies. This is INSTEAD OF, not in addition to, the feat every 3rd level from "normal" d20 games.

Anytime you achieve a level which is a multiple of 3, you may add +1 to any one attribute of your choice. This is INSTEAD OF, not in addition to, the stat-bump every 4th level from "normal" d20 games.

You may NOT change stats, skills, feats, or anything else on your character between modules, UNLESS it's part of level advancement.

Books such as "Way of the Samurai" and "Way of the Shugenja", both from AEG, offer schools or dojos that characters may be trained at. In Rokugan, everyone is trained at such a school, and this is part of character creation. In Cheesy Munchkin Adventures, it costs a feat slot.

Equipment may be purchased between modules (or during modules, if you remember to go shopping) as noted in character creation. Remember that no single item may cost more than ECL*500 gp (minimum 2000 gp).
