Welcome to my site on the Kremlin! A great number of students and I are part of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), which is a terrific program. In this program, it is required for us to do a research project and this year, it was on an architectural wonder. As you can see, mine is the Kremlin. I hope you enjoy my site and I also hope that you understand the relationship between the Kremlin and our daily lives!

I would like to start by saying that the Kremlin is definitely a beautiful architectural wonder! It is huge, with a great amount of palaces, armories, churches, and towers. As you can see, it basically has everything a masterpiece should have. It is known for its most interesting history and thanks to the talented architects and designers that created it, many tourists can gaze at its lovely appearance.

The main architect of the Kremlin was Yuri Dolgoruky. He was born in the year 1090 and died in the year 1157. So, as you can see, he died at the age of sixty-seven. In the olden days, he was known as the Prince of Suzdal and Grand Duke of Kiev. As part of history, he was the one that found Moscow in 1147. Yuri was also well known because he was the sixth son of Vladimir Monomakh.
