I'm not sure if this should really go in this photo section or in the artwork section though... I mean, it's photos...yet it's artwork...yet it's photos!... Anyway, here's the first--this artist specialized in girls with apes (I would've preferred doggies, but beggars can't be choosers)... You know...I was just wondering--I still have this stupid %10 warning
for an unintentional offense I committed MONTHS ago...do I ever get

I like your pics, but i must disagree. this is not a facist state, we are using the admin's space and bw to share porn. its totally up to them what the rules are. As the admin at 2 forums of this nature, i can understand their decision. the warn system is simply a warning system, thats it. i cannot see it, and it wont effect you until it gets to a predesired level. at my forums its level 10 id just say ignore it and try not to get it too much more upped. because there aint much more you can do beyond begging an admin or mod this is a fine forum, but we are only leasing it -------------------- Humans get so enveloped in their daily lives, they forget about what is still to come......

Actually, by the words of the administrators, this IS a fascist state:

In all seriousness, however, I am grateful that a forum like this exists, and I do believe that the administrators have the right to set the rules as they see fit. But we are not simply guests--without us sharing work, this would be just another empty forum taking up cyberspace. Although the administrators do run this site, I prefer to see this more as a community with communal values rather than "my way or the highway." And how else should we express the rules of a community without bringing to the forefront our dissatisfactions? In fact, the administrators, by their own words, encourage this: "We may think you have a good point, and then we will change the rules. But this site does not develop rules by means of "elections", "voting", "all members think that it should be changed", etcetera. We listen to proposals, we validate if it fits our goals, and then we decide." Although we do not vote, we are free to make our proposals heard because they may validate if they feel it proper... So, I go back to my proposal--a first offense, especially a minor one, shouldn't go on one's permanent record although a temporary warning is fine. Perhaps the warning should stay on your record for a year... It's really a moot point though. I don't plan on breaking the rules again--but then, I didn't plan on breaking them the first time...it was an accident. |

ok, ya got me there, we do contribute to the forum, and without us, it
would just be another hunk of cyber space. but do WE pay for that space?
the admins pay for that space, therefore they set the rules, but i do agree with your suggested ideas part. if it makes sense to the admins then it changes. now, i believe that someone sunk quite a bit of money into this forum, the 200 dollars for the invision board registar, adn the enourmous space and bw but be extremely expensive. and the warning system is just that. its meant to be raised step by step. i imagine there are mods out there that could do what you want it to, but the admin may choose to leave it as it be considering it really doesnt effect anything. without a mod that could get very, very annoying haveing to set the warn level down by hand every time someone reaches a year. frankly, i dont know why i am staying up so late typing all this, it is not up to me what happens here. well, cheers, and id like to see the julia roberts beast pic sometime please -------------------- Humans get so enveloped in their daily lives, they forget about what is still to come......

thanks, J. Lo looks good in that position
as the ads contribute a little, i can say that they dont cover the hosting all together. they were probabily placed there because the cost was getting to great to be covered by the admins. they seem to be holding, but i noticed that the member size is growing exponentially so i would go as far as to predict a VIP forum that allows payd access, or maybe even more drastic changes my point is ads only help so much, and with the hosting this board must require (imagine the space alone! Id say it would be measured in gigabytes) then the bw to transport that space would even more enormous! all we can hope is that the ads can supress the cost enough that the admins can cover it btw, can we see julia roberts next lol -------------------- Humans get so enveloped in their daily lives, they forget about what is still to come......
