Billy smiled nervously.

"Now Billy, we will each give a statement that will help you discover who's who and then we will each say which door he's behind. The only way to know the correct door is by solving the problem. Do you understand?"

Billy nodded.

Each of the frog's gave a deep cough the clear their throats. There was a brief silence.

"Judith only came here to rest a few days ago." Said the red frog.

"Jeff's been here longer than Caroline." The blue frog spoke next.

"I'm not Judith." The yellow frog said.

"Fred's been here for a shorter time than Caroline." The green frog concluded.

Billy frowned again, "So which door is it?" He asked.

"Door number 3." Said the red frog.

"Door number 8." Said the blue frog.

"Door number 12." Said the yellow frog.

"Door number 5." Said the green frog.

Without saying another word, the frogs hopped away between the trees. As they disappeared into the bushes, the wind began to howl again and the night drew in.
