Billy led Matthew home through the darkened forest. Although Matthew seemed quite scared, Billy reassured him it was safe. They returned to the cottage just in time for breakfast. Marzurka freed the villagers from the castle. They went back to their homes with tales of a brave and righteous wizard and a small boy who saved them from the grasp of the evil witch. Marzurka was labelled a hero. Every time his walked into town, ladies waved and gentleman shook his hand. He had gained the respect from the villagers Oriel had long hoped for. Marzurka moved into the castle and transformed it into a day centre for the villagers children. People were no longer afraid of the forest anymore, for they knew the castle on the other side was a safe place to visit. ...And as for Magnolia the horse...Billy planted her favourite leaves and flowers to once side of the front garden. Whenever Marzurka and Magnolia visited, Magnolia would tuck into a feast of strawberries and willowbrine prepared specially in her culinary corner of the garden. There were many stories of the witch that once lived in the castle. They inspired writers to tell of similar witches in their tales; woman consumed by jealously and hate. Only Marzurka and Billy knew the truth; she just wanted to be respected. And that traveller, is what they call...
The End.
