Matt's theory on "NOS"
The word "NOS" (pronounced NAWS) is one of the most misused and abused words ever created by man...and it's not even a word! The term "NOS" stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems which is a popular brand of Nitrous Oxide. And when you buy this brand, it shows three big letters on the bottle...you guessed it, N.O.S. This is an abbreviation! Not a word! Then shit hit the fan when The Fast and the Furious came out and every other word in that whole movie is "NOS" so everyone begins to use it because Vin does. However, there are a select few of us with an I.Q. above 70 that decide not to sound like complete morons and use correct termonology such as Nitrous or Nitrous Oxide. Did you ever notice that in 2 Fast 2 Furious they didn't use the term "NOS" once? They got the picture, but unfortunatly, nobody else did. Those of you who say you dont like imports and you use the term "NOS", your making yourself sound like a ricer because only ricers should use the term "NOS" (because they are already dumb enough as it is pouring thousands of dollars into a Honda that they THINK is fast...but I won't get into that). So, when you say "I hate ricers and their cars" and then in the next sentence you say "I am putting NOS in my car" you might as well be a ricer yourself just for saying that. And what even makes you sound like more of a mental retard is when you use the term "NOS" in a sentence, for example: "NOS it up!" "NOS that shit!" Idiots! That makes no sense! "NOS it up?" What? "What your really saying is "Nitrous Oxide Systems it up!" Um, yeah, you get the picture. And if these jackasses try to say they are using the term "NOS" in conjunction with the actual brand, (Nitrous Oxide Systems) how do they know what brand they are using? You can't say "use your NOS" when they are using a different brand of nitrous such as Nitrous Express or ZEX. The term NOS means one thing and one thing only: Nitrous Oxide Systems, it does NOT stand for nitrous in general. With that said I hope everyone is now aware of how dumb they really sound when using the term "NOS".
