Appearance:  Jinks is a 31 year old gnome and a resident of Tennic. He has lightly tanned skin and dark brown hair with a small goatee on his chin. He normally wears faded red clothes that are in bad need of sewing. 

Personality:  Jinks is an adventurous free-spirit, full of curiosity about the world and how it works. He studies Illusion spells as a hobby and makes ends meet by cobbling (shoe-making). His true passion, however, is engineering. He dabbles in all sorts of sciences and math, but does not specialize in any one particular area. Jinks speaks in a very educated and sophisticated manner, hoping that doing so will make people recognize him as someone worth noticing and remembering. Because he is a gnome, people tend not to take him seriously. 

History: Jinks was born and raised in the grand city of Tennic. His father owns a shoe store in Northern Tennic, and it is his hope that Jinks will someday take over the family business. Jinks has other plans, though. He wishes to become a great scientist and inventor, like his uncle Nashu. Jinks learned a bit of Illusion magic from his mother, but never really took it seriously enough to master it.
