Weapons: True Measure: A jade-hilted magical saber whose basic length is that of a normal sword: about 3 feet. However, by will, it can extend its length up to seven meters long. The Jade on the hilt is designed for aesthetic beauty as well as combat-efficiency. The blade is composed of a green-tinted Titanium Silvered alloy, which allows it to be flexible when it is extended. The silver was added during it's forging against the undead, and as a good conductor. The sword has another unique property, which is magically induced, that allows any ki that is touched by the sword to flow down the blade, and energize its next point of contact. That is, the more energy stored by the sword, the more powerful its next attack will be. The hilt acts as a buffer just in case the energy becomes too much for the blade. The special design of the hilt (one of three ornate, European-style Dragons encircling an orb in which the blade extends out of, with the tails of the dragons forming the handle) allows for dispersing of energy at minimal discomfort to the user.

HellShort: Mainly used for defense, the sword created for Crufix by hellblade is only a foot long and has no magical properties, save for one. It is impossible to break. Due to its relative uselessness, it usually stays behind in most matches. But in grueling fights, its endless stamina often proves a lifesaver. Due to Crufix's innate powers, it is capable of minimum energy absorption like true Measure.

Hellsparks: another series of weapons given by hellblade, these throwing stars act as small claymore mines. As they are thrown, these sharp, 4-pointed weapons detach from the blades and, if they strike a target, shoot the blades out, causing further damage.

Miracle Crystals: Ancient artifacts created out of pure magic, these stones have almost limitless power, focused on certain elements. While they are scattered throughout the world, Crufix, along with other travelers, had found two of the precious stones: Fire and Air. The respective stones can control the elements in any number of ways; all depending on how much concentration is used in focusing on the stones’ magic. Fire can go so far as to create a raging inferno out of thin air, and Air can allow a person to fly, and even breath in space if need be. Other Miracle Crystals include: Time, Water, Life, Ground, and Plasma.

Vehicle:
The Aorta: A custom-fitted Commanche-class Helicopter that has been retrofitted to the standard brought upon by the resurgence of magical powers. The hull is made up of a magically reinforced steel exoskeleton painted green, gold, and black. The rotors are hooked together by steel and titanium cords, and coated with noise-reducing black paint. The entire ship is protected by a radar-defeating EMS (Electro-Magnetic Scrambler). The inside is stark, only leaving room for five people to stand comfortably, and includes boxes and packages of extra ammunition for Its weapons: Each short wing holds two custom Vulcan auto-cannons capable of firing 12 45mm round bullets per second. The bullets them selves have a small diamond tip for maximum penetration and are composed out of depleted Thyrium. The body below each of the wings holds four holding clasps for Hellfire missiles (four on each side). The missiles can be substituted for multi-warhead conventional missiles, or Electro-magnetic energy missiles. The body above the wings holds the Aorta's complementary jet engines, as well as the generators for the computerized equipment. This area is fortified by an extra layer of Titanium, just in case. The underside of the craft houses Depth Charges, for underwater conflicts. At the cone of the craft is all the specialized radar, ranging from conventional radioing (radius of 12 miles) to Astral Location (radius of 150 feet). The cone also houses the Aorta's most powerful, deadly weapon: The Fusion Cannon. As the Aorta's only energy weapon, it drains the entire system totally, turning this battle 'coptor into a useless piece of metal in midair. The beam is extraordinarily powerful, capable of tearing holes through skyscrapers and boring deep into mountains.

Armor:
Designed in America and put together in China near Tibet, this armor has the blueprints of Kevlar body armor, using chrome and steel instead of the light padding. As such, the armor, while easy to maneuver in, is kind of heavy, and not as easily removable as other kinds of armor. And it can get hot really fast. Fortunately, It is much stronger

Biography:
Christian Ratix was born the youngest in a family of four. His brother, who was four years older, loved to play pranks around the house. His parents were hard working people that obeyed most of the laws of the land (they wouldn't pass an opportunity to swipe a piece of licorice from the store for the kids, for example). Growing up in a farming community, Christian had a lot of working experience. He also built up a good, strong frame, even when he was little. By the time he was 15, his Brother, who had been training to be an "Artistic Explorationist" [a mage, which was heretical in these parts]. Had finally had enough with the town's preaching against magic and left. Christian remained to take care of the family farm with his father. He learned from Watson, the local blacksmith, about the basics of swordplay and was even given a complimentary sword as a result of his impressive handiwork. Watson was actually so impressed, that he recommended Christian join the local defensive unit.

Balancing his home life duties and those of the policing force proved hard on Christian. Weeks later, Christian had adapted, and had become such a good fighter that he regularly used his sword instead of a scythe to manage the farm. Soon the life of a warrior drew him out of the slow farming community, and the draw of an action-packed live was not lost on his parents. They told him to do what he wanted to, and that they would manage. Their only request was that He comeback once in awhile to check up on them. He agreed, and soon he was an honorary Adventurer. The Adventurers were a legalized type of bounty hunter, under command from the local officials. They went around the land, seizing criminals and fighting violent animals. One day they received calls about a rouge Mage terrorizing an entire kingdom. The Adventurers gathered with other big hunter groups, along with the most advanced police forces around, and attempted to take this mage on.

It took 4 and one half days, but eventually the mage ended up defeating the entire armed forces of the country. Christian, one of the few survivors had witnessed some similarities when he was close enough to see the mage act. It was his brother! Christian tried to keep his feelings controlled and called on his training, but after the massive slaughter at the kingdom, he couldn’t stand the pressure, and ran away for the second time. Christian, for the next several years, traveled the country searching for his hometown. Since being with the Adventurers took him cross-country, He learned a lot. Especially that his hometown was really a back-roads hick town. It took him several months to find his town, and thanks to a kooky inventor who dreamt up really outrageous inventions (his most recent being a helicopter capable of freezing it’s rotors), he found his home.
In Ruins.

It seemed that an army had invaded his town, and slaughtered all the people in it. When he reached his own house, a hysterical Christian viewed a terrible sight. Two adult skeletons holding each other in an embrace and a yellowed note stabbed in one of the skulls’ foreheads.

“Dear Little Brother,
I saw you in the army that nearly killed me. My, my have you gotten brave over the years. I still remember you running away from the old scarecrow when you were little…
Anyway, After the battle, I was sure anyone in the surrounding area would know my face. As such, I retreated back home and found that mom and dad still hated me for what I was. So I killed them along with this entire putrid town. I hope you get this note, because I will be coming after you, too. Your blatant disregard for my dignity and the simple act of you rising up against me was enough for me to come to the conclusion that you will not accept me, either. So, good bye, Chris. Forever.
Vincent Ratix a.k.a. Vulnerix, the dark mage.”

Christian, having read the ultimatum, simply couldn’t stand the emotions. He broke down that day, crying, thinking, reminiscing about the good days, before his brother turned to magic, back when the Ratix Family reunion brought kin from all over, and the games they played together…

A few days later, Christian left. He left everything behind. His Adventurer gear, his life-long sword, and his memories of that fateful afternoon. Wandering once again, Chris eventually found the strange inventor once again, and spent several months apprenticing with him, learning about the wonders of emerging technology, and it’s influence on the everyday world. As a gift for his dedication (and as a pity-filled gesture), the inventor sent Chris on a trip (that would soon be one-way) to a monastery in a far away land. He came across legends of Miracle Crystals, gems that allowed people to become demi-gods of certain elements. He learned of mystical artifacts and weapons that did extraordinary things.

Upon arriving at the Monastery, he was loaded with the distress indicative of a person with too much time to think. However, under the tutelage of the quiet monks, Chris was able to reveal his feelings, his thoughts, and his desires. The monks were not judgmental, and they helped him, along with other castaways, become better people. They learned discipline, honor, and were trained with relaxation techniques. They were also trained in Ninjitsu, taekwondo, Capoera, and Kung Fu. They were encouraged to mesh the styles and invent a fitting version of fighting that suited their style of life. Crufix thrived in this environment, and coupled with the old Adventurer training techniques, he quickly advanced in the eyes of the other students and the monks themselves.

Sensing this, Chris asked the monks to advance his training. They recommended he see their master, whose name was Enzankuu. He taught Chris that physical power was not the basis for gauging true power. The true measure was a combination of fighting, weapon wielding, and the controlling of Ki energy. Chris had told Enzankuu about his chaotic past, and how he gave up on weapons, and refused to learn any magic at all. The master, after asking numerous questions about his life, revealed that Chris’s reason for coming here was to get justice-no, revenge- for his family, the members of his hometown, and anyone hurt by his brother Vincent.

So, undergoing the most rigorous training yet by Enzankuu, who also retought him techniques about using weapons and embracing Ki powers (which is not necessarily magic), Chris was able to advance his game even farther. His former classmates had moved on to better lives elsewhere. But Chris remained, perfecting his body as much as he could. He learned all the ways of the weapons, and excelled in swordplay, once again.

Then, One day, Enzankuu said “Enough.” It appeared that Chris’ training was over, as the master conceded he had nothing more to teach. It was then, that Chris received Enzankuu’s most treasured weapon- an emerald-laced sword with a hilt made of the most pure Jade on the planet. This was True Measure. It had been passed on for generations in Enzankuu’s family, but since he himself had become a sterile thanks to a long-ago battle with a particularly evil mage, Enzankuu had waited for a “son” he could pass the weapon onto. Chris officially took on his nickname earned in the Adventurers, ‘Crufix’, and bid the monks, and Enzankuu, farewell.

He returned one last time to the inventor’s workshop, and was surprised when the guy revealed he had a brand-new invention just for him. The Aorta. Four tons of raw power. Crufix used the helicopter as his primary mode of transportation. He employed the services of a fine woman he met while in America, and she became his only partner.

His infamous energy absorbing power grew out of his training with Enzankuu. Because he despised magic so much, Crufix had always sought a different way to control the mystical energies. It came to him when he drank a concoction of herbs and spices (unknown to anybody except Enzankuu himself) and suddenly found himself being energized simply by moving around. The nerve endings in his body had all tripled their sensitivity, and among the amazing reflexes he gained, was the ability to capture all kinds of energy-Ki, Lasers, Beams, Heat, etc.-in his skin, where the nerves would transfer it to his body. It would then convert it into his own energy signature, and be ready for use in about 3 seconds.

Unfortunately, the super-sensitive nerves also mean he is very susceptible to solid rounds like bullets, arrows, and other metal or wooden projectiles. Also, he has a low threshold for real pain. While shooting lasers at him won’t do much, a well-placed kick can knock Crufix out for good.
Crufix is always searching out his brother. No matter what fight or duel he enters, and no matter where he travels to, he always keeps one eye on the horizon. This means he’s always somewhat distracted, to an extent.

Moves
Jade Impale: Using True Measure as a projectile, He Heaves the sword as fast as he can towards a foe, and wills the weapon to extend to it’s fullest, while the jade hilt is impregnated with energy. Whatever the sword hits, the explosive energy immediately drains into the target and blows it up. The impact of the explosion is equivalent to 60 lbs. of TNT.

Emerald Delay: Manipulating light energy around him, Crufix can create the illusion that he is moving faster or slower than he really is.

Jade Slash: Swinging True Measure as fast as he can, and injecting the blade with various amounts of energy, Crufix can create a wide swathe of green destructive light that actually becomes an extension of the blade. Upon finishing, the swathe careens forward and proceeds to cut apart anything in it’s path.

The Punch to Rule Them All: Converting almost all the energy in his body to an offensive state, Crufix gains a violet aura around himself, and his fist is filled with the destructive powers of all the emotions mixed inside him. The punch, if it connects, shatters all kinds of protection, from the strongest steel broad shield to the grandest astral barrier. Of course, it is naught but a simple punch, and is very easily countered, avoided, and stopped.

Dark Green Night: From the Aorta, Crufix holds True Measure high above his head and extends it to it’s maximum. He uses the sword as a massive conductor, and soon summons lightning to him. The sky in the immediate area takes on a greenish hue, and the Lightning that strikes the sword stays in the action of striking, as they all turn green as well. Crufix then jumps off the helicopter and flies down through the air as the bolts of electricity drain their power into True Measure. As he hits the ground (if he hits the ground…), the power is brought down in a mighty slash that potentially can cut the ground deeply, and sends lightning across the ground, searching out other conductors, like trees, tall hills, and Crufix’s opponents.

Oblivion Absorb: Using the rare technique taught by Enzankuu, Crufix opens the gateway of his entire body to absorb the kinetic, potential, and active energy in a 100-foot radius around him. When like this, he can sense every atom, every molecule moving in place. Extending his mental control to the limit, he grasps these individual ions and freezes them in place. The area that is frozen then succumbs to the inertia of the moving planet, as the entire sphere around him is sent hurtling at 360,000 mph into space. Crufix then releases the energy in one awesome blast that disintegrates all matter within a 5-meter radius of him, and annihilates the area past that with the force of 7 Hiroshima bombs. This move requires about a half-hour to work.
