Gone, but his memory remains
The picture shown here is in tribute of my platy named Stubar. He passed away this evening (March 25th, 2004). He was found resting peacefully on the bottom of the tank when I got home from work. One of three of the first fish I brought home, Stubar had no defining characteristic, no visible personality, and compared to my other fish, was absolutely average. He got sick, and fought bravely. He is now buried under the tallest rose bush in my backyard and is at peace. Stubar was a good pet, a good friend and he will be sorely missed.
ONE FINAL SALUTE TO STUBAR!
At this point in time, I would also like to add Tiny to the list of fish who have lost their lives. Another of the three platy's, Tiny died March 27th, 2004. Within days of his best friend Stubar. The smallest of the three fish, his brother's were always protective of him. Tiny is now buried next to his brother Stubar. May they both rest in peace.
Rest In Peace
Starsky and Hutch, Silver Balloon Mollies and lovers.
Bob numbers 1 through 6, the Mixed Mollies and illigitimate children of Starsky. (Who is the father?! It's definately not Hutch!)
King Spazz, the last Platy and Lord of the fish tank.
Rufus, Chico, and Cheebs; Fancy Tailed Guppies. Friends even in death.
Sunset, Sky, and Jack; the Fancy Guppies. You did nothing, but your were really funky to look at!
Sarge and Church; the Dwarf Gouramis. Noble knights of King Spazz and defenders of the tank.
Eddie, beloved Betta of my sister.
Lenny and Karl, the Bala Sharks of not so doom.
Red, the young and confused Rainbow Shark.
The neon tetra platoon; brave souls who ventured into unknown waters.
Nameless, the Golden Molly (aka the Quick and the Dead)
Spot, the Gold Barb. Casualty of an experiment gone terribly wrong.
Ned, the Goldfish. Younger brother of Fred and friend of Morph, brother of Spot.
Cuddles, the Plecostomus. Brother of Zack the Destroyer.
You all brought colour and life to my Fish Tank. You were my pets, my friends....my Family. May you all rest in peace and never be forgotten. From the sea you came, and to the sea you've returned.
