I have to tell you all about my favorite anime, Slayers. It follows a young sorceress, Lina Inverse, through many obstacles to become powerful, famous, rich and the like. On her way, she picks up many friends that help her through her many quests. She first meets a handsome but not really intelligent fighter and they decide to follow eachother. The anime centers around their budding romance but Lina is resistant. She also meets up with a part human and part rock-golem, Zelgadis, and is the first enemy of Lina's. They eventually become friends and Lina decides to help him find a way to become human again. This group, along with the help of a annoyingly lawful cleric named Amelia, battle through quests and ultimately creates an anime that you can't stop watching.
