Hajime Yatate is the creator of this wonderful series, whilst the director of the anime is Shinichiro Watanabe and the characters were designed by Toshihiro Kawamoto.

Yoko Kanno is the best jazz composer out there, and will be for the rest of time. She is probably most well-known for her work on Cowboy Bebop, spanning three OSTs and several extras which are spread around other CDs, and even invented a band called 'The Seatbelts' to give credit to for all CB music. She began her musical career by writing a song for a boy she liked as a child, and says that Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel were her primary influences.
As well as being a phenomenal composer, she also likes to sing, but puts the name 'Gabriella Robin' instead of her own. She can be heard singing beautifully away in 'Green Bird' and the chorus of 'Blue'.
Amazingly, Yoko Kanno did not intend to be a musician at all, and went to school hoping to become a writer in later life. She even taught herself the piano, and is still down to earth even though her fame might tempt her not to be- she still considers meeting new people to be a bonus of being famous.
You have to admit, she sounds like a very nice person, don't you think?
A list of all the great works in which she has taken part (and her mere presence is what makes them great) is shown below:

    1. Brain Powered
