"Project Black Pearl"

Project "Black Pearl" is a B&M custom coaster that I've been working on for the last few weeks.  I have some big plans for this ride, including some great track-work (smooth and limited whipping) and great 3Ds work to accentuate the theme of the ride.  "Black Pearl" is, for now, the ephemeral name for the ride.  Now I'm sure you're wondering a few things:

1. "How does someone like Camman put out a ride that is supposed to be 'top-notch', when all of his other rides are only so-so, if that?" says the coastersims community.

Answer: Long, hard, and strenuous hours in front of the Sony Trinitron screen perfecting the track work and placing 3Ds'.

2.  "Why should I pay attention to something like this?" questions the coastersims community.

Answer: Long, hard, and strenuous hours in front of the Sony Trinitron screen perfecting the track work and placing 3Ds' will bring forth a final product that should hopefully set some standards... but who knows.

Now I'm sure some of you [the ones who are still reading this] are wondering what to expect from project "Black Pearl"... here are some stats.

"Black Pearl" is something like Raptor meets Nemesis Inferno.  The inversions are as follow:

Lift Height: 134 ft. - Top Speed: 55 mph.

Vertical Loop [110 ft.],  Modified 0-G-Roll [85 ft.], Vertical Loop [88ft.], and two wingovers follow.

The layout has no MCBR, so energy and adrenaline stay high throughout the ride.

As 3Ds work goes, I'm going to have to learn quickly or hope I can find someone who is willing to do a lot of 3Ds work for me, as I know just a little about it.  I planning on including B&M-style track-to-support connectors for every support on this coaster, and support-to-support bolted connectors.

The coaster is built in somewhat rocky terrain, so I'm going to include rock formations [some of which include the station - see designs on left], fencing, queue lines, pathways, track ditches, transfer tracks and shed,  and a wooden tunnel at the beginning of the ride.

Station Concepts:

So basically, what I'm saying is that this ride will not be completed for some time, but when it is, it will hopefully blow your minds away.
