A group of fallen monks who was lead by a fallen monk and servant of Nerull lead a great order called the Order of Shadows into combat. The goal of the Order of Shadows was to plunge the world into darkness, this darkness was the will of Nerull. This battle might of continued many more years then it did but a faithful follower of the leader of the Order of Shadows betrayed his master. The betrayel lead to the defeat of the Order of Shadows during a critcial battle.
Stridic who had lead the Order of Shadows during the "Chaotic Orders" ws never heard of or seen again after the war. What isn't known is that stridic had used the time after the war to search the world in secret for a power that would allow him to acomplish his goal. In his searches he found a strange ruby that he could sense had terribly strong powers within it. Baal sensed that Stridic would be a perfect match for him since the fallen monk had lost faith in the god Nerull, thinking that if Nerull was really with him in the battle then he would of won and not defeated. In the coming months, Baal had worked enough on Stridic that one night in maddness Stridic rammed the ruby into his head.
With a new body Baal began to reach out with his powers, within weeks he had a number of supporters and even had began to work on a gate to go into hell so he could bring a army of darkness into the world of Belash.
While everything was going on to bring chaos to the world again the Order of Shadows or what remained of it had teamed up with the order it had fought during the "Chaotic Orders" called the Order of the Holy Hand. The orders could sense that a dark force was coming to the world but had no way of knowing how soon or how powerful. They began to up their guarding of the cities and areas of the world but since peace had ruled for many years now their numbers were low. With the orders members being low they have began seeking help from all people and classes willing to help them in their cause.
All classes are open to this game. This game is a Diablo based game but also of my own design. Please note that this is a 3rd ED game. You roll a 4d6 and add the highest 3 numbers, reroll this for each stat. Inless you have a minus to a stat you get atleast a 9 in each stat so anything rolled that adds up to lower then a 9 gets bumped to a 9. All characters startout on 3rd level, this is so i can make things abit more difficult in the game instead of you running into the normal monsters all the time for awhile. You have 35,000gps to buy equipment, including magical equipment. You have a bonus of 3 feats and 4 skills. I do not hold the level penalty for certain races, when you submit your character I will tell you if you have a level penalty for the race you use or if you have a less of a level penalty.
