and intends to impart the abundance of knowledge and experience

and continues to deliver the ideal quality of service, which is
required within the industry. In addition, T.N.S Inc is equipped
with some of the more technically advanced tools and equipment
necessary for this line of business. There are currently 15

Description of Work Undertaken
The company
has been involved in variety of construction work including:
–
Service Pipe Work – This involves the installation
of water, gas, electricity
and
storm drains and catchment’s tanks.
–
Foundation Work e.g. building construction and
renovations, concrete work
including footpaths, swimming pools etc
–
Road Construction and Maintenance including
pruning of trees and
overhanging branches and clearing of drains.
Work Experience
T.N.S Inc has undertaken a wide range of construction projects,
both in England and currently in St. Lucia. This includes
subcontracting work from M.J Church Construction Company to
rebuild major sections of motorways reaching lengths of 200
miles and 6 lanes wide. The company has also undertaken other
government projects such as drainage and the construction of
walkways.
Some of the major
tasks would include digging up and removing all underground
drainage and catchments tanks, and to rebuild foundations
compacted within layers in order to install new underground
drainage and tanks. The final phase would then necessitate
rebuilding the road crown and replacing asphalt on the road
surface.
Work on such projects
involved some heavy-duty equipment and machinery, some of which
are currently owned by T.N.S Inc.
T.N.S Inc also
undertook work at the Royal Air Force base in Fairford England.
The contract at the Royal Air Force base involved pulling up
roads around the married quarters, and to locate all underground
service pipes e.g. gas, electricity and water in the area. The
final stage would then be to re-locate new services, erect new
underground drainage and to rebuild the roads and sidewalks for
the 1200 households in the neighborhood. These jobs would extend
between 18 to 24 months depending on certain factors such as the
weather.
More recently, we have
undertaken a number of building/construction projects in and
around the Soufriere area over the past few months, including;
–
The refurbishment of the old J.Q Charles Building in
Soufriere
–
Road and grill work in the center of Soufriere town
–
Bridge repairs and road works near The Still Plantation
–
Landscaping at the Soufriere Infant School
–
Road cutting job for WASCO at Sulphur Springs
–
Construction of gate at the Soufriere jetty
–
Road surfacing work at Choiseul
–
Refurbishing of private home (ongoing)
The company has just secured a contract at Margot Bay with the
Discovery Resort Johnston International Contractors for the
construction of all the footpaths and swimming pools for the new
resort. In addition T.N.S Inc. has been short listed as one of
three tenders by the Soufriere Foundation for construction work
at the Sulphur Springs and also maintenance work on the
Soufriere Jetties. The company has been able to deliver a very
high standard of work on all of its projects, and is highly
recommended by its clients. As the company grows we will
continue to create employment for the local residents and
maintain our exemplary standard of work.
Tools and Equipment Available
T.N.S Inc currently has
a variety of tools and equipment in St. Lucia including; a
mixer, generator, heavy duty compactor (whacker), night lights,
trailer (trolley), a 2 ton dump truck, hummer breaker drills,
grinders, road cutting tool, a mobile welder and an assortment
of sledge hammers and shovels and a wide collection of power
tools. The company is also in the process of importing
additional heavy-duty machinery such as a 2-ton digger, a road
saw and a heavy-duty road breaker.
We are aware of the newly completed Soufriere
to Vieux Fort highway, and have submitted a proposal to the
Ministry of Communications and Works to be considered as
potential contractors to undertake maintenance work in that
area. We have also had dialog with Mr. G. Louis of WASCO
concerning pipe work in the South of the island. Our experience
in gas, electric and pipe maintenance would also enhance our
ability to deliver the standard of work which is required in
this field.
Thank you for your
co-operation, we anticipate a response from you on this matter.
Sincerely,
Terry Stanislas
