Official Tendo News..... Interesting..... Almost

21/10/02 - Tendo return to the local gig scene with much needed practice and it appears that the lads are back on form. Unfortunately there was low turn up and the crowd weren't exactly thrilled at the preformance although I was quite pleased.

30/08/02 - Oh how the mighty have fallen. Tendo in it's arrogant state of "we played a good gig fuck practice" came around and bit them in the ass. Although people did appreciate 'The Magic Roundabout'. The Aesthetics and Codetta were both really good, shaming us.

21/08/02 - First gig for Tendo after a long two month break. The results are very promising. We played a decent set to a half empty Front Page which was composed of our own material with a few covers. Songs that caught on-lookers attention were emotionally distrote 'Why I Never Tried?', the energetic and humerous 'Agraphobic Boyfriend' and the sad tear-jerker 'Sometimes All The Time'. There was even a strong request for an encore in which Tendo preformed "The Girl Next Door" by Screeching Weasel and Blink-182, I'm not sure what verson we'replayin these days. The other bands Codetta, Apogee and Plan 9 all failed to disappoint also, infact you could say they were better than us.

07/08/02 - Tendo finally find a drummer, only two weeks before the very first Front Page gig. This hip dude goes by the name of Nicky Martin. Seems he's pretty good at bangin the old toms. Now time to practice.

22/07/02 - Myself and Charlie sit down to write some songs for Tendo, the results are very pleasing with 3 quality tunes being perfected and ready to play, well if we can find a drummer.

21/07/02 - Chaz rejoins Tendo but this time as their guitar prodigy. The kid is talented.
Can't get enough of that cheesey grin!

20/07/02 - Brendy leaves Tendo after some intense debates over American ethics and morals. Dee insists that he is right and communism is the right way of life. Brendy believes in the first amendment and the proclamation declaration. Paul wishes he had of paid attention in history class. Tendo is now a two piece band, things don't look good.

Sometime in October 2001 - 20th July 2002
"Fuck communism, Americans are best!"

12/07/02 - Right, we haven't practiced yet cause I couldn't be arse walkin to Brendy's but we'll start soon.

01/07/02 - After successfully mastering playing covers on stage it is time for Tendo to write their own material and rise to super star status, or so I like to think so. So we won't be gigin for a couple of months until we get some of own songs together and practice everyday, but it'll be worth the wait.

28/06/02 - Tendo take to stage in (you guessed it) Giros and rock like muthafuckas on the last day of term, with No Ghost's drummer Chaz (he's back!). Possibly the best gig so far. Hell yea!

21/06/02 - One weeks before an important gig and Tendo are practicing hard. It is important that we don't suck like last time. Disaster strikes! Tom leaves the band! The greatest drummer alive has now departed his average at best band mates. Word on the street says that his mom made him leave cause he has gcse's next year. Dee thinks that he doesn't like us.

24th March - 21 June 2002
Greatest drummer ever, wherever you are...

08/06/02 - Tendo plays Giros yet again, although this time didn't exactly all go as planned (not that it ever does). We hadn't practiced in weeks and it showed. Nuff said. Fool and No Less My Life both played good sets but it was merely salt in the wound.

02/06/02 - Tendo offered to play along side Fool and No Less My Life in Giros. Offer willingly accepted.

20/05/02 - Updated site with four downloads of a recent gig. Cool or what? Check it out on the downloads page here, be warned they are kinda shit.

19/05/02 - Tendo win Owen Bradley's (Rikoche) Battle of the bands poll at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ebradley/poll.html

10/05/02 - Battle of the bands! Tendo came third! Hell yeah! Winners were No Ghost who kicked ass on the night. Theres a review just for you!

05/05/02 - Favorite band member poll results: new boy Tom wins easily, closely followed by me (Paul) and Dave. Charlie came in forth and Brendy proved to be as popular as aids.

26/04/02 - 4th gig with No Ghost (yet again) and Driver 32. I thought all three bands preformed quite well and it was nice to see some new faces at giros. However despite evidence put forward by the live recording of No Ghost, P.J insists that he was there. Review

22/04/02 - Tendo came third in a best band poll on Clinical Waste Only's Official Site. Sweet! Obviously CWO won and Pocket Billiards were close runners up.

17/04/02 - Charlie has moved on quickly and has joined 'No Ghost' as their new full time drummer. But how long will this drummer last? I haven't a clue. Good luck Chaz!

12/04/02 - Finally updated site, I've added a couple of gig reviews, lists of equipment used by the band, a photo gallery (that'll probably take hours to load), Bmp's message of the week and a links page. There should be more stuff coming but I have no idea when I could be fucked updating it again.

04/04/02 - Third gig, Giros again. This time with No Hero, Clinical Waste Only and Blind Summit. Denver soon lost his hard-on and sobered up to write up on it - Review

28/03/02 - Gig number two in honour of fraiser's departing for Austrilia. Much better. The band have obviously grown and are developing a style, this is partly Tom's fault. Damn him. Who will i take the piss out of when Tendo are actually good? Probably No Hero - Review

24/03/02 - Got new drummer! He's fuckin A. Name's Tom, he's like 14 or somethin but he looks like 18. Cool! Unfortunately Charlie is now forced to leave the band but on good terms. This is because although he played drums he wasn't actually a drummer. Thanks for helping us to get started Charlie! You never know he might end up drummin for us in the future. (Actually Charlie hates us now and he wants to kill me!)

In loving memory of Charlie
24th January - 24th March 2002

15/03/02 - Half day of school means practice for Tendo! Most songs go very smoothly but there are problems with one or two that mini jeff didn't learn and everyone else is melted by the order. Charlie seems to be improving his drumming skills and is now fairly good at it. Things are looking up for the next gig (28/03/02).

06/03/02 - It's Official Tendo have a fan! Catherine McGuinness has been the first of a long line (hopefully) to reveal herself as a tendo fan. Actually she thinks we rock. Maybe shes right, maybe shes feels sorry for us and is being nice or maybe shes deaf, but we have a fan! Cool!

04/03/02 - The new Tendo site (which you're looking at) was set up. The old site, http://tendosuck.tripod.com, sucked more than Tendo the actual band but the new site is on par with them. It still kinda sucks.
The web team is made up of me and budge who are administrators, and brendy and mini jeff who might one day actually write something for the site as they are in the band. The site would be better if budge would bother doing anything for it but he's a lazy bastard so everything has been down to me so far. Hope you guys all enjoy the site and hey maybe one day you'll actually enjoy what the band have to offer!

01/03/02 - Tendo offered to play in front page by closest friends, No Hero. However the offer is very late and the band are all lazy bastards so it was declined.

25/01/02 - First gig! Tendo took to the stage alongside No Ghost and Fuckall Squared and preformed in a Giro's which was fairly good considering the sound sucks
