Attack At Fort Sumter

On April 10, 1861, the first battle of the Civil War was fought, The Battle At Fort Sumter. Fort Sumter was in Charleston, Georgia, making it the only Union for tin the South. Conf. Gen. Beauregard demanded that Comm. Anderson surrender the fort, but Anderson refused. April 12 was the day they started firing on the fort. At 2:30p.m., Anderson surrendered the fort.
