Sisters of the Golden Moon aspires to nurture the creativity of all our members. Scribe Constellation is designed to inspire, encourage, and display the creative literary works of our Sisters. The secondary mission of Scribe Constellation is to entertain and inform our members and the general public. Scribe Constellation is the only one which is completely open to the public. Any SGM member may choose Scribe Constellation as their primary constellation. However, we ask that you explore the other constellations before making a decision. Please note: All SGM members may submit writings for publication, even if they are not a Scribe Constellation member. However, only Scribes are permitted to work on the pages, or to participate in special projects and events relating to Scribe Constellation. Under the direction of Galaxy Star Honor74, the Scribe Constellation members will publish our Sisters' original literary works in the Alexandria Collection, or in "Phases of the Golden Moon" (our ezine) for others to read and enjoy. Scribe Constellation currently publishes the following types of writings, which you can read by clicking on the banner links. If you have a different type of literary work that is not shown, please e-mail your idea for a subject to the Founders and they will submit it to Scribe Constellation for consideration.
Poetry, Haiku, Tanka, Song Lyrics, Short Stories, Short Plays, Essays, Memoirs, Musings, Philosophy, Rants, Raves, and Tributes
SGM's electronic magazine (ezine) publishes the following types of original writing: poetry and prose based on a theme, or on the theme of sisters; entertainment and product reviews; articles on cultural exchange, awareness, nature and the environment, travel, traditional and holistic health; and grammar, spelling, html, graphics, computer and WebTV tutorials. The ezine also publishes original graphic art, scanned artwork, scanner art, and photography; recipes; crafts and hobbies; kids' crafts and games; family pictures and stories; pet pictures, recipes and stories; and much more.
