Weakness(es):
A fear of being recognized in public or being viewed as something he's not.
Background:
Juliun has a tragic past. Growing up an orphan because of the strife revolving in the world at the time, he had to stuggle against the odds just to survive. Living from day to day, wondering if each day if it will be his last or not. The strong survived and whe weak perished, that was until a new force called the Federation came into being. Seeing it as a light in a bleak world, he fully embraced it and joined them as soon as he was able to as a MS pilot. He looked at his life in the Federal Forces as a second chance at life. Putting his all into whatever he did to help make the world a better place, his talents were recognized by command and was placed into advanced training courses. With his determination to make a difference, Julian excelled by pushing himself and covering all corners rather than cutting them.

Within a few months time, Julian had exceeded command's expectations. He had combat experience, was now highly skilled and his dedication knew almost no boundaries. Command sent him back into the field not just as a pilot, but as their poster child. From that point on he was always at the head of major offences or sent into heavily contested areas where Federal troops were failing in order to raise morale and encourage them to fight with everything they had. In just a few years, the Federation had become a major force and was able to bring stability to a large part of the Earth Sphere. Many nations saw this as a time of peace and pledged their support and peace was established over eighty percent of the Earth. But this peace was not to last.

Most of the founders of the Federation had perished during the war and their places had been filled by men of inexperience. The government that was formed during the time of peace was made to ensure peace and order were maintained, but many were quick to take advantage of the new system. Corruption slowly began to make it's way through the Federation and it began to branch out. This corruption was noticed by many and opposition arose in the form of a group called Zeon which controlled the space colonies of Side 3.

It was uncertain what caused the 2 factions to go to war with one another, but Julian was once again called into service to fight the "new threat". He did much fighting throughout the new conflict, but this time around he saw a different enemy than before. The people he now fought, fought like he did when he had first started fighting, but he did like he was ordered to and continued to fight. At the end of the war while fighting in space came the mass colony drop which ended everything. Communication was lost with the Earth and bases everywhere were being over run. Many remnant forces withdrew to a few select bases and faked their own distruction so that they could remain hidden.

The officers at these bases were few and far between and keeping up morale proved to be difficult. Everyone was told that that they were to stay until word was gotten from command, so they all waited. Days became weeks and weeks became months. It was only through sheer dedication that the remaining forces didn't mutiny or abandon their posts. News finally reached about what had happened and that the Federation had been blamed for the "Great War". Julian knew that he couldn't go away and leave the others behind. He had to stand tall and help keep morale up, but it wasn't going to be easy. Supplies could only last so long, and there were very few traders willing to do business with them. With few options left, piracy was their only solution. It wasn't something that Julian wanted to do, but it was vital that the remaining troops survive so that they could rise again. The years haven't been nice to Julian as it has made him somewhat bitter, but he maintains his bearing for the troops. While he has been helping rebuild the Old Federation's forces throughout the colonies, he has unknowingly become an underground icon.
