"Gohan! Dinner time!" Chichi’s voice resounding through the forest signaled the end of yet another day of tedious lesson. Gohan closed his study book, letting out a brief sigh of relief in doing so, and hopped down from his stool in the woods near home. He sped off down the dirt path towards his house and his meal, his tail trailing like a kite behind him.

"All work and no play makes Gohan a dull boy…" A woman’s voice, soft, resonant and mocking, seemed to eminate from the trees surrounding the small desk and stool. In a waver of atmosphere, a person - or what looked to be a person - appeared in the air then landed softly on the ground beside the workspace. Gohan froze when he heard then voice. Turning slowly, he came face to face with a woman he was pretty sure his mother would not approve of. She had long, platinum bonde hair that hung to her waist and came to a slight widows peak in the center of her forehead, pale blue eyes, and a heart shaped face with fiar skin and flawless complexion. Her ivory arms were crossed over her well-sized chest as if in defiance. She was tall - about 6 feet - and of a slender, muscular build. She wore a ribbed black, tight turtleneck and long, black baggy pants that covered her feet, which were wrapped in black leather cords that resembled lyrical sandals. She had a row of seventeen black - onyx loops going up the sides of each of her slightly pointed ears. He took a step back, mildly frightened.

"W..who are you?" He stammered. She smirked, and Gohan felt something resembling déjà vu pass over him. No, it was sharper. It twisted his stomach into convulsive knots. It was the twinge of utter fear. He didn’t know what had caused it but now that it was here it grew until it filled his throat.
"My name," She introduced, bowing. "… is Daisuki." She straightened and her hands came to rest on her hips. A slight breeze made the trees around them tremble, as if in warning. Her hair billowed out slightly to the side. "What’s yours?"

"D-didn’t you alr-ready say it?" Gohan couldn’t move. Her gaze had paralyzed him to the very center of his being.

"Yes, but I want to hear you say it."
"Mama..mama told me never to talk to strangers.." Gohan backed away even further. The woman raised an eyebrow.

"You have got to be kidding me. I feel a very high energy level from you. In fact, highest I’ve felt yet…save for my own of course, but that doesn’t neccasarily mean I’m stupid, or your stupid. Now, answer me or pay the price." She brushed a strand of hair back behind one ear casually, releasing Gohan from the hold she had on him. He blinked and swallowed. His breath coming in short, hitching gasps.

"Daisuki…" A deep, raspy voice made the girls eyes widen. A red burst of light behind her gave way to the form of a man in a black leather jacket and baggy black pants and sneakers. He grinned then, and Gohan felt an involontary shudder go through the very marrow of his frame. Tha mans eyes were blood red and his long blonde hair was tied back in a braid and slung over his shoulder. He chuckled, and G ohan was immobolized with fear, greater and more painful than before.

"Gohex." Her vooice was like the growling of a jungle cat, ready to pounce. She whirled on him. But before she could move to attack, two scarlet blasts of light hit her in her chest and abdomen and she went flying back against the trunk of a tree, snapping it in half and slumping to the ground. Gohan stared at the man, his eyes wide with surprise.

"Come here boy." The man ordered. Gohan didn’t move. "Come here!" He growled again.

"No Gohan!" The woman was upon him before he knew it, they rolled through the sharp, jutting rocks and spiky brush, her arms around him, warmer than his mothers or his fathers, they seared into his skin, not in a painful way, but a warm, comforting way, like putting your hands near the fire on a cold day. She pressed his cheek into her shoulder and protected him with their body as they rolled, taking damage that otherwise would have gotten him in trouble when he got home. When they came to a halt, her back was facing the man. Three red blasts exploded, the ground around them erupteed into rocky showers, each closer to her than the last, the last one hitting her in the small of her back, she grimaced and pulled Gohan closer.

"Give him to me, Daisu. Or perish." The man rasped. He could hear the woman’s heart beating, he thought it got a little faster.

"Never Gohex. I’ll never let you use his power to destroy earth. Not as long as Earth houses Saiyans." She retorted. Gohan’s eyes widened in su rprise. Saiyans? Why would she know about saiyans?

"So be it." The man said grimly, as if he were the cold reaper himself. He held is palms out. "Kamei..hamei…. HAAAAA!!!!!" He shouted. A huge scarlet blast sped toward them. The woman, still holding onto Gohan, got to her feet, and crouching, leapt out of the way just in time.

"Damn you!" She yelled. Gohan was shocked! She had used a bad word! Only Vegeta and sometimes Piccolo used those words!

"Give it up, Daisu, if you get yourself killed, I will be the only one left of our kind in the entire universe after I destroy Earth. Fly away little birdie, live to fight another day!" He mocked, another scarlet blast hit her shoulder, Gohan could feel it’s heat through the other side of her body and had to pull his face away for a moment. He heard her growl.

"Gohan.." She said, loosening her grip. "Run as fast as you can...go...h-home.." She coughed and a tinyu trickle of blood ran from the corner of her mouth. She wiped it away determindely and sat up. "I have to take care of this guy. Run home, tell anyone you know that theres a fight going on in the woods." She looked at him as he sat there staring at her. "Now!" She shouted. He didn't think twice but got up and ran.

"Damn you!" Gohex roared. Daisuki smiled and dropped to her knees.

"You can't have him now, his father and mother will stop you..." She wheezed. Gohex narrowed his eyes at her. "Go ahead, kill me, he knows enough now that they'll be...safe.." She pushed herself up and grinned. "And there's enough fight left in me for another round or two. So come on, hit me with your best shot."

"Don't take me that lightly Bitch." He smirked and shot another blast her way, it hit her and he left her laying in a small crater on the floor of the forest.
