Aaah, Duo. What can I say. He’s a riot. Between threats from Heero to kill him and His goofey smile you’ve just gotta love him. The God of death is naturally a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He always takes time to look up at the stars and consider what life is really about. To him piloting and fighting against OZ is what seems like one big video game. This makes Duo seem to be compleatly different then the other pilots.
But wait... he has a serious streak too (belive it or not).
When Duo is fighting he seems to be a little more happy then the others. Duo makes a sport of killing and destroying things as fast as he can without becoming detected. This desire for sport keeps Duo from realizing the limit to destruction. And some times takes it a little too far. But In my mind, what can you expect. Duo grew up on a colony that was very, very poor. All he ever saw when he was a child was death and destruction so you could say that he is making himself at home. But.. then again that could be my demented self talking.
Any way...
Duo grew up as an orphan and was taken in by a local missionary. After the Maxwell Massacare Duo (who’s name he created himself) gave himself the full name “Duo Maxwell”. Since then the wondering teen has worn the uniform of a priest and his hair in a yard long braid. After the Maxwell Massacare, Duo was apart of a salvage oragnization know as the Sweepers Group, before Operation Meteor and would assist in the fighting the Sweeper’s Group got into when nessessary.
Duo’s wide eyes smiling face hides a well oiled killing machine. Get him behind the controls of the Dethscythe or Dethscythe Hell and you’ve got a whole nother person.
