Modeling Pics

Aaaah, modeling classes. An experience I'll never forget, and I never want to relive. I gained alot of knowledge from my time at Maniquin Modeling Co., Especially when it comes to make up, but a two and a half hour drive to East Pt. Detroit every other saturday at 6am (that's when we had to be on the bus) just wasn't my idea of fun. I'd rather be at a wrestling tournament (oops, there's the tomboy in me talking again). Oh Well, It was definatly an experience. Especially when I was at the photo shoot and the photographer & his assistant were flirting with me the entire time. Oh that's the Photographer's BMW I'm getting out of in the middle photo. Talk about a cool car! (Honestly I know nothing about cars, it just looked cool) All of the above photos were taken and developed by Randall Scott for Maniquin Modeling Co.

The next photo shoot in my life. 90 degree weather and I'm in a basement wearing jeans and a polo shirt with a varsity jacket thrown over my shoulder. I've got only 5 words for that, Thank God for Air Conditioning! This is just one of my 52 proofs that I took. All of which turned out great, but this is one of my favorites. (runway announcer's voice)"As you can see our model's apparel is ideal for the wrestling manager of today. Her sleek jeans and comfortable shirt make for an outfit that is great looking as well as long lasting." In other words, I wore this to wrestling tournaments and meets. It's my "uniform" if you will (minus the jacket). So defined because of all the blood spots on my shoes, and shirt from big wrestlers with bloody noses. If it looks like I'm some one with a lot of school spirit, guess again. My school spirit goes as far as the wrestlting mat and the swimming pool. Thoes are the only teams that are consistantly good and have made a tradition of running a good program. Yes I was in marching band, but trust me that has nothing to do with school spirit in my hometown. Okay, I'm done with this rant. This picture, and the rest of the proofs, were taken by Carole Anthony.

Well here are three of my four (once the number was five) Cats. First, you have Phantom (far left) he is the only "normal" cat in the house. He was named for the patch of black fur that goes over one of his eyes, like, you guessed it, the Phantom of the Opera. He's a cool mutt cat that keeps the others on their paws. In the middle is Eeyore, a persian like the rest to follow, named for his distinctive gray coloring and Extreamly Shy behavior. Believe me, we've had him for close to 7 years and he still won't let half my family pet him or approach him. But we're cool with that so everyone just gives him some space, which happends to be alot considering he is a VERY large cat, and go on with our lives. On the end of this line is one of the dumbest cats you'll ever find. Don't get me wrong, I love her, but you can hear an echo, if you know what I mean. Her name is Lolly. We call her Miss Lolly just for the heck of it. There isn't much to say about her except that she isn't exceptionaly bright but is a vrey loving cat.

Sad news to report, Eeyore has passed on into the Summerland.

These two finish up the feline crew. This is Tinkerbell (on the left) and Tuffy (on the right). Now earlier I mentioned that the cat population had dropped by one. Well Tuffy died this winter of a lung tumor. R.I.P. Buddy.

Ok, Tinker' Stories. Tinker', as the Family calls her, was the runt of the litter and is still the smallest animal in the house. Nicknamed "Stinkerbell" due to the foul oders she would pass after eating and basically when ever you were close to her. She is a very loving cat and really cute.

Now for *sniff* Tuffy memories. *double sniff* Tuffy was my cat. I didn't get to name him, he came with it. He obtained that name after his previous owners (breeders)got him fixed, and when he got home from the vets, he proceeded to mate with one of the other cats. This was just with in a short while after his sugery. (talk about a love machine!) Tuffy was a very animated cat who would take the other cats under his paw and protect them when they need it and lick their fur the wrong way just to get them angry. He'll always be remembered. Again, R.I.P. baby!

Say hello to Maxamillion! The newest addition to the Family. Max is a persion like most of the rest. He looks alot like Tuffy but we're not sure of his lineage.

"Who let the Dogs out!!" oops sorry! These are the hounds of the house. To my left there is angel. In the middle is... Angel again, when she was a puppy. And on my right is Blossom.

Angel story: Angel (and Blossom) is a miniature Daschound. Cute, Cuddily, and has a big mouth and an even bigger appitite. When she was little my sibs and I dressed her up in a little pink doll's dress. She was sooo cute! (middle picture) And then she grew. We now joke that she is a Ball Park Frank and after about 2 years of cooking, she's pretty plump. Her special talent is that she can play soccer. I'm serious! She'll run the ball all over the yard until it gets stuck in a corner or at an angel she can't get it out of. It's really fun and makes watching my sister's soccer games a little more intersesting when she runs out on the feild to play with the team.

Now Blossom is a newly aquired pet. We rescued her from a family, this winter, who would just keep her in a cage 24/7. We got her in January, and, in our house ther is alot of space, She didn't know what to do with herself. She just ran from one end of the house to the other until she dropped. We often call her air head because it is often pondered wheather there is anything between her floppy ears. She is now being trained to not bark everytime she goes out in the backyard, which seems to be a concept she can't quite grasp. Blossom is a very loving dog who was starved of affection, but is having the time of her life at our house.

This is what I ment by the Goddess shape.

Can you tell what I do for a living? *he he he* (click on the pic to see it bigger). I'm a road construction worker. I stand at the end of a closer holding a stop/slow sign and direct traffic. Trust me, I love having that kind of control. And if you're passing through a construction site, a few words of advice. Don't argue or yell at the Flaggers (that is what I am). Save your breath, because all we do is laugh at your childish antics as you pass us by or sit and wait to go. You may not believe it but you are quite amusing. But anyway. This is Asha Phalt. If you take out the "ha" in the first name and stick the two names together you get Asphalt. (forgive me I was bored while I was working one day. And don't worry, no accidents occured while I was drawing this picture.)
