Attack, Attack, Heal, Repeat. Thats the life of a Red Mage at lower levels. decent mele damage combined with both white and black magic make the Red mage a great overall character. At lower levels, they are sought as a backup healer. At higher levels, their debuffs on mobs make them indispensible. When choosing a subjob, they get the opportunity to enhance any of the abilities that are already good with them. Pick a warrior and their mele damage goes up. Pick white mage or black mage and their magic is more potent. Overall, this balanced character is a great introductory character for those that want to do it all.
