+ Anime Music Video Podium +

Well this is quite simple. I am an AMV hunter just as much as you folks are, so I decided to put up a list of the best music videos out there which are not on the site ;) So check them out and be amazed just as much as I was when I first saw them .... actually I still am :P

Clicking on the images will take you to the download page of each video at AMV.org. Enjoy ^.^

  SHINING COLLECTION
  Shining Collection

And here we go, starting with my very favourite music video ever, Shining Collection by Vicbond007. It's fast paced, it's flashing, it just takes your breath away. I got addicted to both video and song, and kept watching it over and over the first few months I got it, believe me. Well, both song and footage go perfectly together, and if one had to understand the lyrics, you would realise this even more.

The timing and sync, is incredibly good, and that is not all. The video goes along the Ah! Megami-Sama movie really well. It's like a little walk through of the movie. A very big WELL DONE for Vicbond ^.^

PS. The introduction of the video can be described only with one word. ... KAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Adinokyi
Adinokyi by Rinny from Hidama Productions

And second in my list is Adinokyi by Hidama Productions. Ok, I always hated TATU for some reason or another. Well I don't hate the cute girly couple who love to expose themselves on TV, hehe, just the annoying music. Or so i thought so, untill I saw this video. I pretty much have all of TATU's songs now, and I listen to them regularly. Hehehe.

I had never watched Wolf's Rain before, even though I did have it's OST, and from the footage I can see it's another MUST HAVE which I have been missing.

The music video is very neatly done. It goes along perfectly with the music. What I admired the most about the artist is the way she managed to put text in the music video without forcing the viewer off the main footage. I mean, one can clearly read the text without missing any of the beatiful scenery. Another very well done to Rinny. Keep it up. ^.^

  Night Of Fire
Night Of Fire from Kwasek of More Than Toast Productions

I don't know if I could say anything about this video. You just have to watch it really. I mean, I couldn't believe that it was a combination of and Anime and Cartoon Cartoon ... The editing is just wow-good.

The music from the Initial-D OST fits the footage perfectly, and it gives you the feeling that you are flying with the cutesty girls while watching the vid.

Way to go Kwasek, marvelous job.

  Make It Better
  Make It Better by Vicbond007

Puni Puni Poemi RULES and this track from the DDR Projects really gives it justice. I never really LOVED Excel Saga, except for a few final episodes, and when I first heard of Puni Puni Peomi I figured it was just about the same thing, but I was wrong. Oh yes I was wrong ...

Well the music video is great. Especially when considering Victor managed to use Adobe Premiere for footage. Plus the dreaded blue screen, great going Vicbond007, another big'un.

  Always
  Always by trythil

For all you Neon Genesis Evangelion fans out there, this is a must, MUST, MUST!!! see AMV. I just don't know what to say. Why would I like it? Maybe cause the editor managed to change the whole relationship between Rei, Shinji and Asuka and moulded it into whatever he wanted. I really was impressed when I was all the romantic scenes between my alltime favourite anime super-girl Asuka, and the nit-wit good-for-nothing baka Shinji. I mean, in the anime, it would have looked fake even if for an episode, Shinji showed actual feeling for Asuka, besides always having her in his mind, but in the AMV, it was plainly spectecular.

I have read in the author's notes that the colours used for the video are an actual study to show flashbacks of the past, which I really admired. It was great to know that AMVs are being taken this seriously. Very well done trythil !!!
