to where we were… the chicken veered to the right, dashing as fast as her
little chicken legs would carry her back towards the pasture, deciding against
the hen house for some odd chicken-y logic. Wufei was ready to pounce on her,
dashing up from behind, his eyes glued on her blue feathers, but as luck would
have it he ran smack into a fence post, taking him out of the running for at
least a little bit.
Heero and Duo Quickly gained on the chicken after that, closing the
distance by about a foot or two, Trowa and Quatre not far behind. Wufei had by
then peeled himself off the fence post and gotten back to the race, trying at
least to save some of his friends from the doomed fate that had been bestowed
upon them.
As they raced back through the barnyard for a fourth time, Wufei halted
for a moment, lifting his arms up to the heavens, his face uplifted.
He starred for a long moment before opening his mouth and shouting
loudly.
“BY NATAKU THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD!!!!!!”
