Cleaning Up

I've been touching up my blog for the new season. All the GunxSword and Okusama wa Joshikousei entries are now sorted into their proper categories and they've both been added to my "currently watching" list. I've dropped virtually everything that I was watching during my absense, only because with the new season coming up there's no way I could catch up on the ridiculous number of shows I was watching. I hope for a fresh new start when the first of my new series premieres. Please enjoy! ^_^

Fall 2005 anime

Very Intriguing-

Rozen Maiden Traumend - Rozen Maiden was simply great, so this is my number one must see series

Paradise Kiss - I enjoyed the manga a lot, regardless of the fact that I'm not interested in fashion and have been waiting to see it animated.

Black Cat - Actually, I don't have a clue as to what it's about but I'm intrigued by the character designs.

To Heart 2 - I enjoyed To Heart and Remember My Memories so even though there's different characters in this one, it'll probably be enjoyable.

Nanoha A's - I enjoyed Nanoha so I'll be checking out the sequel

Somewhat interested-

My Otome - I loved the original, but the AU aspect makes me a bit uneasy

Gunparade Orchestra - See reason above

Jigoku Shoujo - Seems like it could be interesting

Happy 7 - Cute character designs and an interesting sounding story

IGPX - I'm curious as to how a mostly American geared series will come out

Sorry that it took me so late in the day to get this one up. This weeks is the Opening theme to Erementar Gerad. It's a beautifully animated piece accompanied to one of the best songs I've heard in a while. If you haven't sees this theme yet, definitely check it out along with the show itself.

Since I'm in a Bleach mood today, this weeks clip will be the second OP. It's quite nice visually. Best of all, it's not an annoying rap song like the first OP.

New Feature

I've created a fun new thing. I just love watching OP and ED themes so I figured I'd share the love of making them available. Each Friday, I'll have a new video clip of an anime opening or ending theme available for download. If you scroll down a bit, on the side bar you'll notice a new heading called "This Week's Download." The first one I've made is the 2nd ending theme to Ah! My Goddess TV. The song sounds rather weird at first, but it gets better. The animation is basically Keiichi and Belldandy riding around all day. For something so simple, it's actually rather pretty.

Just Some News Really

First and foremost, happy Easter. Even though I told myself I wouldn't update today, somehow it just happened. It was the only way to avoid stuffing my face with even more chocolate. ^_^ For some interesting anime news, as stated on Matthew's blog, there's a new season of Rozen Maiden in the works. The first one was great so I can't wait. Next, a Paradise Kiss anime is being made. I really liked the manga so I'm excited for this. The fact that it's being done by Gainax makes me even happier. The only thing that really disappoints me is that the character designs will be done by the same person who did them for Escaflowne and Xenosaga. I hope I'll be able to take the ugliness.
