Tsubasa Chronicle 03
Topic: Misc.
Syaoran finishes his battle and returns the feather to Sakura. Thankfully, her body is getting warmer now. The gang meets up with two people and are allowed to stay in their hotel. That night, Syaoran has a dream about Sakura and Kurogane has a dream about Tomoyo. In this dream, he?s reminded that she put a curse on him called ?Shu.? With this, whenever he kills someone he becomes weaker. In his dream, he sees a Celese-like deity. The next day they all head out, leaving Sakura in the room. Koragane sees someone who looks like Tomoyo and chases after her, wanting to make her reverse the curse. The others go to a restaurant, where they meet Yukito and Touya look-alikes. At first Syaoran thinks they?re the same, but then he remembers Yuuko saying that they might meet people they know living completely different lives. He realizes that this is probably what happened to Kurogane. Kurogane can?t find Tomoyo, but he does run into the gang, living pretty much the same life. He wants to fight them, and he?s aided by the dragon from his dream, which turns into a sword for him. He later returns and he and the others go to sleep for the night. It?s then when Sakura awakens. Alright, an impressive episode. Though it didn?t bring on the same MKR fangirl mode that I went into last week, this was an enjoyable episode. This is probably because I?m just loving Kurogane and he had a major role in this episode. He even got his own eyecatch. ^_^ Shows with changing eye catches are fun. I?m curious now if Fye possesses Kudan. I would presume so. Next week seems to be focusing on finding Sakura though, so I?ll have to wait for an answer.

Kino's Journey ~Life Goes On~
Topic: Misc.
This basically explains some of Kino?s life after she left her town but before she started her journey. She?s living with her teacher, an old lady who lives in the forest. Often, villagers try to persuade her to move in, but she?s perfectly content with her living environment, as is Kino. Upon meeting someone else who claims to be from male Kino?s village though, she gains an interest in traveling. Receiving all the supplies she needs, along with a good luck charm, she goes out. She winds up meeting male Kino?s mother, who?s become a psychopath. She wants her son back and has been killing every traveler she meets. Kino is forced to shoot her. Her hair is covered in blood, so she has to cut it. She then returns home to the lady to give back her charm, saying she wants to get strong on her own. The too sit and talk for a bit, leaving poor Hermes outside. Wow, I didn?t realize how difficult Kino?s journey is to blog. I?m glad that when I watched the TV series it was on DVD so I didn?t have to write up 13 confusing and uber-deep episodes. Yes, I?m a big fan of Kino?s Journey. I?m glad that I was able to see this movie. It had a rather short running time (29:45) but though it wasn?t much longer then a regular episode it had a different feel to it. I found this to be pleasing. Well yay for Kino?s journey, as I?d say this is the end of it for good. I wouldn?t count on there being any OAVs.

Sousei no Aquarion 03
Topic: Misc.
Two new pilots, Tsugumi (the uber-moe girl) and Jun (the nerdy boy) arrive. Along with Apollo, they?ll undergo training. A partnership system has been started, and Silvia will be working with Apollo. They may not get along in modern times, but they?re re-incarnated lovers. Tsugumi is working with Reika. She?s not a very good pilot, so her messing up brings Reika?s confidence even lower. Later, Apollo is speaking with Sophia and Silvia is spying. They come to the conclusion that his feelings of wanting to save Baron is what gives him so much power. They?re interrupted by another attack. The pilots chosen for this mission are Silvia, Reika and Sirius. Silvia is very pleased that she doesn?t have to work with Apollo, while Apollo?s annoyed that he didn?t get picked. He winds up sneaking in with Silvia. As usual, Reika needs a replacement so this time Pierre gets to pilot. At least she?s able to give them essential information this time. Right before fusion time, Silvia is shot down. However, Apollo helps her gain control. They all fuse and believe that they?ve one. However, the enemy takes away something important resembling an alien potato (What on Earth is it? I?m confused) and sucks it up into a mysterious vortex. Okay, despite the ?huh?? ending which was supposed to be dramatic, I really enjoyed this episode. Unfortunately, it seems SnA won?t be the next Soukyuu no Fafner, but it has something that Fafner doesn?t: Humor. I enjoy the symbolism too though. Something else that I?m liking is the relationship between Apollo and Silvia. Though Silvia would kill me for saying this, I like the idea of those two being paired up much more then a Sirius/Silvia pairing. Luckilly for me, the show seems to be leaning for it. I?ll be awaiting the subs of episode 4.

Honey and Clover 1-2
Topic: Misc.
The story begins with a boy named Takemoto riding his bike. He?s an art student and he?s currently housing one of his sempais, Morita, who has a bit of a problem. He?s been in the same school for six years, all because he can?t wake up early enough to get to one of his classes. This year it?s a bi later though. He wants Takemoto to wake him up at 9:00 for the 10:00 class. He gives him some croquettes and falls asleep in his room. Takemoto?s friend Mayama comes over and is curious about what?s happening. Takemoto offers him some croquettes, and lots of other boys swarm in to get them. They say that Morita is allowed to stay in school for longer so waking him up isn?t important. The next morning, Takemoto doesn?t wake up until 9:30. He flips out and tries to wake up Morita, but he just goes back to sleep. Scared of what Morita could do to him as punishment, he needs to get him up fast. Mayama takes photos of him shaking Morita so at least he?ll be saved a bit. When he finally does wake him up, it?s about 9:45. Morita steals Takemoto?s scooter and rushes off. When the poor, panicked Takemoto and Mayama get to school, they?re in for quite a surprise. There?s a new girl in their class who?s incredibly short. Her name is Hagumi and Takemoto takes an instant liking to her. He takes her to his house and gives her croquettes. When Morita gets home, for some reaon he runs out, gets a giant leaf for her to carry, and starts taking pictures. There?s also this redhead girl. For some reason, she hates Mayama. She walks in and is very confused at what she sees. In the second episode, Hagumi?s being tortured by the fiendish Morita so she decides to do some art work. Takemoto and Mayama think that Hagu?s painting something and want to see it. They?re surprised to learn that she?s making a big statue, which will be used in a museum. There?s also a gallery interested in her work. Takemoto begins to worry, because he?s the only one that doesn?t have a goal for the future. Mayama says that he shouldn?t be too concerned though, since he?s only in his 2nd year. They then discuss having Hagu come to a Teppanyaki party. When they go to visit her, a guy shows up who knows of Hagumi from a website where she?s posing with vegetables. It must be run by Morita. Hugu?s very upset about this. Morita shows up at just the wrong time and Hagu starts to throw books at him. As she storms through the streets, she bumps into the redhead girl, causing her to drop a clay pot she was carrying. She?s more concerned about whether Hagu?s okay then the pot, but Hagu still decides to fix it. She makes it into a weird shape, which the girl can?t quite figure out. Takemoto invites Morita to the party. He says he has to go out for a week, but they?re going to wait for him even though Mayama doubts he?ll return for it. Meanwhile, Redhead decides to make more pots. Hagu shows up to watch. She?s invited in, and the girl reveals her name to be Ayumi. A strange man shows up who?s very impressed with Hagu?s pot thing. One week later, it?s time for the party. Takemoto?s not going to go have fun until Morita shows up though, since he doesn?t want him to feel bad. Mayama is reminded of a woman. About Morita, he?s busy walking through town. He sees a pair of shoes that Hagu wants, and he gets them for her after testing them with a model of Hagu?s feet that he made. Shuuji?s out in town making arrangements for Hagu, who?s becoming friends with Ayumi. He thinks of that same girl that Mayama was thinking of. Later, Morita finally makes it to the party. He gives Takemoto some meat. Upon seeing Morita, Hagu becomes terrified. However, she?s quite happy to receive the shoes from him. Unfortunately, Morita is very tired and collapses. Takemoto has to take him home. On the way, he mentions that the present made her very happy. Then he gets a weird pain. Not knowing that he?s jealous, he figures he?s just hungry. Okay, I?m sorry!!! This is so totally late!!! Anyway, I?m glad I started watching this, because it?s great. Hagu is insanely cute, and I like the shows unique blend of humor. Also, the artwork is very distinct, definitely pretty. There?s a lot of good things I could say about this show, but let?s discuss it?s faults as well. I don?t like the opening theme. The song?s good, but I found the animation to be rather disturbing. The hotdog man and the lobster thingy in particular were skeivey. The ending theme is nice, but I don?t like how they do the preview inside of it. It would make more sense if they gave a full animation and did it after. I?ll definitely be sticking with Honey and Clover for now. Though there?s not much of a plot so far, they?ve thrown in many things which could lead one to believe that there will be one. For instance, that mysterious woman and the scene at the very end of the first episode with an older Takemoto. Another is what Takemoto wants to do in the future. That was a rather thought provoking scene actually, especially because I?m not entirely sure about my future goals. Also, there?s the relationship between Mayama and Ayumi. It looks like we?ll learn a bit about that next week though.

He is My Master 03
Topic: Misc.
My backlog list is getting smaller. Bear with me for a while longer.
After their bath, instead of finding their maid uniforms, Izumi and Mitsuki find school uniforms. They're going to Yoshitaks's school whether they like it or not. As usual, Izumi dosn't. On the way to school a girl is spying on them. She's Anna, and it truns out that she's romantically interested in Yoshitaka. Yoshitaka had helped her out a few times in the past, though for his own perverted reasons. Izumi tries to convince her that a relationship with Yoshitaka would be horrible. Actually though, she's very pleased at the idea of being Yoshitaka's maid. He's been listening in and jumps right out at the chance to get a new maid. It's time for another compettion over who gets Yoshitaka. Anna wins with flying colors. However, it's not Yoshitaka that she wants anymore. Now she's after Izumi. I sometimes wonder how ridiculous this show can get. Next weeks storyline should prove to be more insane then this one. Oh, and I'm starting to like Yoshitaka more. SUre he's a jerk, but he's quit4e funny.

Sousei no Aquarion 02
Topic: Misc.
Otoha, the creepy lady with 4 different colored eyes, speaks with Toma. Something called the Solar Wing is resurrected and wants to fight. Meanwhile, Apollo is questioned on his personal background. He refuses to reply to any question asked to him though, ticking off the guy who he?s speaking to. He tries to put up a fight but is getting his butt kicked, much to the amusement of Loli-vampire. Apollo is forced to tell his name. Meanwhile, Silvia asks her brother about how his first fusion felt. Sirius explains how great it was to her in a detailed and certainly interesting matter. However, that was when he was with Glen and Reika. Silvia?s rather jealous. He explains that his fusion with Apollo, the possible reincarnation of the Solar Wing, was dreadful. Silvia tells Sirius that he?s definitely the Wing. Apollo, now in solitary confinement, struggles to get out. The people who have him wonder if he?s the same hero who protected mankind by fighting the Shadow Angel race 12,000 years ago. One of them can?t believe that they let him pilot the Aquarion, but Aquarion chose him. Apollo is remembering his past friendship with Baron. Loli-vampire gives him food, which he really wanted. She also tells him that Commander Fudo mentioned him having a beast of darkness in the bottom of his heart. He wonders what she means and notices something weird about her eyes. Apparently she can see in his heart if he?s a wing or a beast. She asks him what he is. Silvia and Sirius meet up with another pilot, who Sirius seemingly doesn?t get along with. The guy picks a fight, and uses his fire powers. Sirius has powers of his own, which he uses to defend himself. Reika comes to break up the fight. She?s upset that she?s not a worthy pilot and about what happened to Glen. Sirius tries to comfort her but Silvia doesn?t want Reika, an angel of death, to get close to him. She believes that she?ll bring misfortune. Soon it?s time for battle, and the three head out. They need to stop their opponents, who are going people hunting. As they?re about to fuse though, Reika gets those same visions, and Apollo senses something. He goes into breakdown over Baron, and Loli-vampire bites his neck. Wings emerge from Apollo, and he transforms. Seria, the fire-using pilot from earlier, wants to switch places with Reika. However, it would be too risky to teleport change them now. Then Apollo, now back to normal, shows up. He asks Seria if he forgot his pride as a warrior. Silvia senses him as Apollonius. Her past self gets angry. He blasts Seria away, and is allowed to transfer minds with Reika. The three fuse. Meanwhile, Otoha is ordered by Tohma to play the spirit transfer song. Seemingly, the Aquarion?s opponent is defeated without anything having been done but then it stands up again. Apollo notices the faults in their union and the three are sucked into a tornado. He hears the voice of the Cherubim soldier, Toma, saying that he?s too weak. The pilots all begin to experience terrible feelings. Apollo?s body has hit the depth of consciousness. Toma starts talking about the ultimate light that destroyed the world and betrayed them. He wants the Solar Wing, the only man he ever loved, to awaken. After a blast of darkness and a nuclear explosion, the light is born. Apollo screams out in pain and trhe Aquarion separates into three. Alright, SnA is officially awesome. Finally I?ve found something with the deep symbolism I?ve been looking for. This makes even less sense then the Melody of Oblivion. From what I was able to decipher though, a lot of this is based off reincarnation and sex. Becoming one with the other Aquarion pilots is seemingly similar to sex. Also, the experience of this fusing differs with the people you fuse with. This could depend on both your present relations with them and your relationships with them in your past life. For instance, Sirius hated the feeling he got when he fused with Apollo and didn?t even know the boy. He said that he got a particular enjoyment with Reika, whom he seemingly has a relationship with. Then there?s Silvia?s passion for fusing with Sirius. She clearly has feelings for he brother and this is probably the way that she can be closest to him. As displayed, some of the confusing symbolism in this is rather disturbing. It proves to be interesting though. On a lighter note, there?s now an ending theme. I have no idea what language it?s in and it?s at weird as the show, but it?s not a bad song. I really like the song that I presume will be the opening them. I hope we get an OP next week. By the way, I?m sorry this entry was so late. I figured that I would wait for the subs, because if I?m going to watch a show this confusing then I might as well get confused in my native language.

Tsubasa Chronicle 02
Topic: Misc.
Note: I changed the spelling of Syaoran, since I believe this is more accurate. For some reason it?s a pain to write though, since it?s just a weird spelling. I?m tempted to just put Li. ^_^
The witch reads Sakura?s mind and pretty much restates what Yukito already said. Kurogane comes and barks some questions at her. They learn that they?re in a completely different Japan. Syaoran asks how to save Sakura, and the witch explains that he?ll have to go through different worlds and collect the fragments of her scattered memory. The witch then learns all three of their motives. Syaoran wants to save Sakura, Kurogane wants to go back to his own world, and Fye wants to travel to different worlds. She says that to reach their goals they all have to give up something precious to them. Kurogane forcibly hands over his sword. Fye gives up his tattoo. Syaoran, however, has it worst of all. He has to give up his relationship. Sakura will never be able to regain her memories about him. The three are then warned of what they can face in the alternate worlds. Thery?re given Mokona Modoki as a companion. He can take them to other worlds but not control where they go. Though it?s all random, there are no coincidences in these worlds. It was also inevitable that the three of them all met. This Mokona (who can speak English) sends them into a warp portal thing. While floating, Syaoran realizes that Sakura is the most important person to him. He wants to protect her and says (or rather, almost says) that he?ll never forget her. He?s distracted by an odd floating orange thing. He says that he?s been watching them and he reveals his true self. It?s the Deity Rayearth. However, he?s then wakes up in a new world. That was all a dream? A boy named Saito shows up, telling them to run. Seeing Sakura?s dress, he asks if they?re foreigners. Fye replies that they are, and he tells them that they?re in a dangerous place and have to escape. Two fighting gangs bearing no weapons then show up. They can use a technique could Kudan. Syoaran is reminded of Rayearth upon seeing the technique. Fye then picks up a feather that fell on Syaoran?s clothes. However, as he?s about to give it to Sakura, a blast comes their way and it blows away. He?s able to grab it, but now he?s right in the crossfire. Luckilly, he?s protected by Rayearth. Saito explains that this means Syaoran possesses top level Kudan. He uses it to scare away the gang with the red Kudan. Asagi Shogo, the leader of the blue Kudan gang, confronts him. He possesses the Kudan of water (not Celese *tear*) and is looking for a fight. This second episode totally blew the first away. Tsubasa Chronicle is shaping out to be the best show of the new season. Bee Train is doing an phenomenal job. It?s great to see so many MKR characters, since that?s my personal favorite Clamp title. Mokona speaking English is weird though. At least he says Puu too. From the looks of it, we?ll get to see Celese next week. I can?t wait. (I also am curious as of how to actually spell Celese.) Syaoran?s in quite a bad situation now. I wonder if Sakura never being able to remember him is worse to him then having Sakura in this state. We?ll have to wait and see, or I can just go read the manga like everybody else. I feel like the only living mortal who has yet to do so.

He is My Master 02
Topic: Misc.
For a while, Pochi sleeps between Izumi and Mitsuki, but he?s gone by the time they wake up. The girls decide that there only real option is to go back to the mansion. Yoshitaka is busy fuming that he?s lost his maids. When they get back, Izumi and Yoshitaka immediately get into another argument. They go to take a bath, and using special technology, Yoshitaka peeks on them. However, there always happens to be an object in the way of the parts he wants to see. Once they get back in they?re maid uniforms, Izumi goes to express her complaints to Yoshitaka. She?s not at all happy about Having to wear that revealing maid uniform. Mitsuki doesn?t mind it though. She finds it cute. However, she doesn?t have much of a choice. For the damage caused, she needs to pay off her debt of 401,280 yen. To lighten the mood a bit, Pochi shows up and begins chasing after Izumi. Mitsuki comes up with an idea to settle things. They?ll play a little game where they try to catch Pochi. If Yoshitaka wins then Izumi will have no choice but to wear the uniform and call him master. However, if Izumi wins then she can wear what she chooses to. Both are determined to win. As the game begins, instead of Izumi chasing Pochi, Pochi starts to chase her. Yoshitaka begins the chase as well. Out of self defense, Izumi starts to through very expensive vases at Pochi. Yoshitaka catches them, but there?s too many so he falls down, dropping and shattering them all. Pochi joins in the vase throwing as well, bot a furious Yoshitaka scares them both away. Soon after, Yoshitaka almost wins, but he?s punched away by Izumi. Luckilly for him though, he sees Pochi lying next to him. He jumps at him, but Pochi wakes up and attacks. This means it?s time to get out some guns. It?s a perfect opportunity to win too, as Pochi?s got Izumi cornered. Mitsuki smashes him away with a heavy looking club, but it?s too late and he?s already began firing. The bullets start hitting Izumi, but Pochi jumps in the way and takes the hits. Good thing they?re just little pellets and aren?t very damaging. Izumi picks up a vase to get Pochi with, but unfortunately she trips and falls down the stairs. Letting his vase shatter Yoshitaka catches her. However, she winds up smashing her head anyway and falls unconscious. When she wakes up, Yoshitaka?s taking care of her, He?s going to let the three of them stay. Izumi?s quite happy and almost calls him master untill she realizes that she?s in a very skimpy outfit. She starts to beat him up. Mitsuki walks into the room and sees her on top of him. This leads her to think that Izumi?s doing perverted things. As Izumi lays in bed, Mitsuki hacks into Yoshitaka?s computer. She discovers lots of pictures of Izumi. Meanwhile, Yoshitaka?s doing some evil scheming. What to say about this? Yoshitaka is completely insane. Even though it seemed for a moment there like he had a caring side, he probably only saved Izumi to change her clothes. Now he?s scheming about seeing the girls in their school uniforms. It looks like Mitsuki will be able to keep a tab on him though. One must wonder where she got that club from. Hopefully Izumi?s life doesn?t get too miserable. If Anna is introduced next week though, I think it will go from bad to worse. ^_^

Legendz 05
Topic: Misc.
I just decided to blog this episode because it's so funny. You see, there's something special about Legendz. No matter how depressive you may be before watching it, once it's done you'll be laughing your head off. In this ridiculous episode, BB has a new plan to get Shu's talispod. She calls on a harpie Legendz named Anna. Anna disguises her self as a school girl and, much to Megs dissatisfaction, pretends to fall in love with Shu, who has an immediate attraction to her. She winds up really falling for him though. However, she still has to get his talispod or she'll be sealed in hers forever. Due to BB's disliking for her and the fact that Anna's stalling her job she gets the help of a bird expert who happens to have formally been the crab expert. Wanting to eat Anna, he captures her. Shu sends out Shiron and persuades him to help save her. He does, and Anna talks to him. Apparently, Shiron's forgotten an essential part of his past. Anna kisses Shu and flies off, saying that she'll see him again someday. Shiron begins to ponder. Again, this show is just too funny. Everyone should give it a try. Yes it's kiddy, but it has a certain flare to it that other childrens anime dosn't. The return of the crab expert was hysterical and unnexpected. I hope we see him again some time. Of course BB is my favorite though. I'm such a helpless Amano Yuri-sama fanatic.
