Amara and Serena walked up to the park bench arm in arm. Amara suddenly twirled Serena so that she was standing directly in front of the bench.

Sitting on the bench was a lovely couple reading a book. The girl had short blue hair and blue eyes, that were enhanced by her glasses. The boy had short brown hair and brown eyes.
"Ahem," Amara cleared her throat to get their attention, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Oh, hi guys." The girl said when she looked up. She put the book down between her and the boy and gave a bright smile.

"Hi, Amy, Greg! What are you to up to?" Serena asked slyly, eyeing how closely the couple was sitting next to each other. Serena always knew there was more to this relationship than either let on.

Both blushed bright red before Greg responded. "We were told to wait for you here. I believe that this belongs to you." Greg gave Serena a red rose, trying desperately not to look at Amy.

"Thank you," Serena said taking the flower. "So when did you talk to Darien?" Serena asked fingering her six flowers, trying to figure how many more people Darien involved in this.

"He called me last week and told be to make sure I had tonight clear. Then he came over with Luna and Artemis this morning and gave me this." Amy said as she produced a velvet box from her bag. "He told me to make sure that you get it tonight."

"So Luna, how much do you know about tonight?" Serena turned to her guardian, her eyebrows rising.

"Enough to know not to tell you because it would break Darien's heart that he couldn't surprise you." Luna said smugly as Amy scratched her under her chin.

Artemis nodded his head as he was being petted by Greg.

Knowing that she could never hurt Darien in any way Serena gave up questioning either of the cats with a sigh. She turned back to Amy and took the box from her hand. She opened it to reveal a stunning diamond bracelet with crescent moons all around. "Oh my."

"Wow!" Amara commented looking over Serena's shoulder. "I think he took Michelle shopping with him."

Greg gently took the bracelet out of the box and handed it to Amy so she could slip it around Serena's tiny wrist. "I guess it is a good thing that you aren't wearing your gloves tonight, Miss Moon." Greg teased.

Serena stuck her tongue out at him, laughing slightly. She knew that he was one of the few people who knew who they were. "Thanks Greg." She reached over a kissed him on the cheek.
"And thank you too." Serena gave the Senshi of Ice a hug. "You are so good to me, Ames."

"You are welcome, Serena." Amy replied. "I know how much that you have been through since I was the first senshi you discovered." Amy replied softly. "You deserve to be happy with Darien. Lord only knows how often you two have fought your way back to each other."

"Now you better head over to Darien's apartment." Greg said after the girls hugged again.
"Darien's apartment? Is he going to be there?" Serena was so excited that she would get to see Darien that she started to jump up and down.

"Calm down, Serena." Amara laughed. She put her arms around the excited girl in an effort to settle her down. "You'll see Darien soon enough. Let's go to the apartment and see what we have waiting there." She wiggled her eyebrows to the girl as she started to lead her away.

Serena and Amara walked into Darien's apartment each with a cat on their shoulders. As Amara shut the door the cats jumped down and ran ahead into the living room.

"Darien, are you here?" Serena called hopefully. She really wanted to throw her arms around him and kiss him.

"I'm afraid not, Princess," answered a beautiful young woman with wavy aquamarine hair that fell to her shoulders. She was standing by the couch with a violin in her hand. She set it down and walked over to Amara and gave her a deep passionate kiss. "Hello, Love."

"Hello to you too, Michelle." Amara whispered huskily, closing in for another kiss.

"We didn't come here so that we can watch you two make out." Artemis replied after the two ended the kiss.

"Artemis, there is no need to be rude!" Luna scolded him, swatting him with her paw.

"Actually I don't mind that they enjoy each other's company. I think that they are so cute." Serena replied giggling.

Both Amara and Michelle turned bright red to the princess's comment.

"Please, you find everything cute." Artemis muttered.

"You are just cranky because you got in trouble with Luna." Serena teased, pointing a finger at him.

"Can we get to why we are here, PLEASE!" Artemis almost shouted.

"Geez you think that he was going to be the future King of the Earth." Michelle giggled. "This is for you, your highness," she said as she gave Serena a white rose. "I also have these to put in your hair." Michelle held up two very long strands of white pearls. They reflected the light so they almost seemded to wink at Serena.

"Oh wow!" Serena exclaimed as she fingered the beads. Once again, Darien had astonished her.

"Sit down on the couch and I'll get started on putting them in." Serena sat on the couch and Michelle surrounded the two buns on Serena's head with each strand of pearls. Then she twirled the hair that was hanging down the buns with the strands. Since Serena's hair went past her knees the strands of pearls didn't quite make it all the way down her hair, but it suited to make her hair look more exotic.

"I guess it was a good thing that I liked to play with your hair when we were children in the Moon Kingdom." Michelle laughed when she was through, tugging lightly at the end of a pigtail.

Amara held up a mirror for Serena to see. "Oh wow! You did a great job. Thanks Michelle!" Serena threw her arms around the Senshi of Water.

"You are so welcome," Michelle laughed, hugging the teen fiercly. She looked down to wipe a tear from Serena's face. "If you get any more beautiful you are going to steal Amara away from me for sure," she joked. "Now walk out on the balcony. And before you ask, no Darien's not there," she added when she saw Serena start to open her mouth.

Serena nodded her head and walked out the sliding door, anticipating what she would find out there.

Amara wrapped her arms around Michelle. "I would never leave you. I love you too much." Amara whispered, her mouth close to the other's ear.

"I know. I love you too. You are my partner in every way." Michelle whispered back, closing her eyes and leaning into the other's embrace.

Similar words were being shared between the two cats that were now rubbing each other's heads together.

Serena stepped through the balcony door to see an ageless-looking woman with long green hair and deep red eyes leaning against the railing. "Trista? Why are you here? Is something wrong with the timeline?" Serena asked urgently. "Is there something wrong with Reeny?" She knew that Trista never come from the timeline without a reason.

"No, Serenity." Trista soothed, using the name from so long ago. "Everything is fine. I came from the Gates of Time to help Darien with his plans tonight," Trista smiled as she stepped away from the rail. "Come, sit down." She pointed to one of the two chairs. "I am going to be the one that does your make-up," she laughed at Serena's dumbfounded expression. "Oh, Princess, don't be so shocked. Do you think that I have lived as long as I have without learning a few tricks to make you look like a supermodel?"

"Uh. Actually I never thought about it." Serena said as she blushed.

"Don't be embarrassed," Trista said as she sat in the other chair and started to remove the little bit of make-up that was already on Serena's youthful face. She then applied Serena's delicate face with a light dusting of make-up that transformed her from a cute teenager to a glamorous young woman. "There," Trista said satisfied. "Now you are done, but I forgot to give you this," Trista produced a red rose from her make-up kit. She pulled the smiling princess to a long mirror to show her the beautiful picture that she made.

"Trista! You made me look like a... like a..." Serena's voice trailed off as she tried to think of a word to describe her image.

"Like the queen that you are going to be," Trista finished softly. Her eyes were soft as she gazed at the young woman. So many good things were ahead of her. She then took her hand and pulled Serena into the apartment where the others were waiting.

"Smile, princess." Michelle said softly as soon as they walked through the door.

As Serena did as she was requested Amara snapped her picture.

"I think that you are going to be making a lot of copies of that picture." Luna joked softly as gazed with pride at her charge. "You are so lovely Serena. I feel like a proud parent." She added with a little embarrassment.

"Oh, Luna!" Serena kneeled down in front of Luna. "You are like a mother to me." Serena whispered softly as a few tears fell unchecked down her cheeks.

"Now stop that." Luna said pulling away. "You'll ruin all that good work that Trista went through."

"It isn't a problem. I expected it that is why I put on water-proof," Trista smiled. "Our princess has always been emotional," she shared a look with the other outer senshi. "Now it is time to go. You are supposed to go to the rose gardens."

"Shall we?" Amara said after she gave Michelle a quick kiss goodbye and offered her arm to Serena once again adn lead her out of the apartment.

This time the cats stayed behind. Michelle picked up the phone and dialed a number. "It's time, Raye."
