The Perfect Pet series Arc 2: Quatre and the perfect pet Teaser
Quatre looked out the window of his Learjet barely containing his excitement and joy. The youngest of thirty children and only boy he had always been sickly. Unable to join the others in their childhood games. When he had first Heared about the Perfect Pet Program he had been excited. Something that would love him for him with no regrets or pity for what he could or couldn't do.
His father had quickly agreed when he found out one the things that made the perfect pet perfect was the fact it was trained as the perfect body guard its loyalty incorruptible and its master's safety more important then its life. So they had filed the form and sent it off express mail. But then had heard about the popularity of J Industry's new product and the fact that so many applications had been sent they only reviewed a few at random. He had figured he wasn't going to be that lucky and had dismissed it from his mind. But then he had received the acceptance letter. The past year had almost been the hardest during the wait but it was all worth it. This was the best thing that had happened to him in a long time. Maybe in his whole life. For the first time having money had been more then a burden. TBC…
