Crying to the Walls Part 4

Duo tossed his car keys up in the air, only to catch them when they fell back down. He repeated the process a couple of times, humming to himself. He was walking from his car and up to an apartment building across the road. It was evening, and the first stars were sparkling up in the night sky. Duo was wearing an elegant black jacket, accompanied by black trousers and a light-blue buttoned up shirt. His hair was still a little wet from the shower he had taken, for he hadn't the time to dry it. He was too eager to get to his destination.

Walking up to the top floor, Duo smiled to himself, throwing the car keys into his pocket. He stood in front of some apartment's door and ran a hand through his long bangs, tiding them one last time. Now sure that he was ready and presentable, the braided youth grinned to himself and knocked on the door.

"Just a sec!" A muffled voice called form the inside, making Duo's smile turn into a more like dreamy expression. When he heard the keys being fuddled with, he straightened up, taking a deep breath, preparing to meet the person.

But no matter how much he tried, he was never prepared for the sight of the beauty who had just opened the door.

Deep blue Prussian eyes looked up at him, hiding behind thick bangs of dark brown hair. Sharp and delicate Asian features illuminated by the pale and dim light of the hallway. Blood red, pouting cherry lips curved in a small smile, addressed only to him. The slim and fragile looking body, the slender waist that were meant to be held by him... long pale arms... and the most awesome pair of bosoms he had EVER seen.

Duo grinned and looked up at his date. "Evening, Hitomi. (1) Wussup?"

The young girl smiled and bowed her head shyly. "All right, I suppose. You're a bit early."

"Ne, couldn't wait ta see ya again." Duo replied smoothly. "Being early is not a crime nowadays, is it?"

*   *   *

"You're late." Johnson spat as he saw Heero climb into the car.

"Sorry..." The Japanese youth answered, out of breath. "I couldn't find Eric, so I had to give the reports to Ervin. He said he'll try to finish them by morning."

"Whatever." Johnson snarled, rolling his eyes. "Just close the damn door and lets get out of here. We're already late."

Heero nodded and did as told, apologizing softly for his stupidity. It was a bad thing to keep Johnson waiting.

Johnson started the car and sped out of the Preventers parking lot.

"Where are we going?" Heero asked, after a long drive in suffocating silence.

"An old place me and my buddies used to hang out in. It's nice, you're going to love it."

"Is it a club?"

"Sort of."

"Oh." Heero let out quietly, turning back to face the window. He gazed out at the city lights flashing and speeding before him, at the horizon, a tall tower, with a large saucer on top, was guarding the city. Heero sighed and looked away, already wishing that this night would be over. He wondered what Duo was doing.

*   *   *

"Where did you take me, Duo?" Hitomi asked looking in awe at the large building in front of her. It wasn't really a building, more like a huge and tall pillar, and on top of it was a HUGE, spinning, saucer. The girl turned to look at her date, stunned.

"What is this?"

"A spinning restaurant." Duo answered simply, smiling, eyes sparkling with mischief. "Ain't it cool?"

"You're telling me that we're about to eat in a giant saucer that spins?" The girl asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep. Well, we better, cuz I had to blackmail the owner to give us a table."

"Baka." The girl spat, amused. She sighed and turned to look up at the weird restaurant. "Oh well, if you went through all that trouble..."

"Hey! C'mon! It'll be fun!" Duo cheered, grabbing her hand in his, pulling her towards the elevator. "Don't be such a stiff... I swear, you're so uptight sometimes, Hii-chan..."

"Well, it's just that where I come from, restaurants are immobile."

Duo rolled his eyes. "Ch, everything on L1 is immobile..."

*   *   *

"Where are we?" Heero asked, looking at the small building Johnson had parked by.

"The Black Flame. Home of the best of drinks and the worst gamblers you'll ever meet..."

Heero raised an eyebrow. "And we are here because..?"

"Because that's where I said we were going." Johnson answered sharply, slamming the car's door shut. He glared down at Heero, still standing by his open door, staring at the building. "C'mon! They're waiting for us!"

Heero sighed and closed the car's door. He took one last look at the shabby building. It was located in a corner between two dark alleys, one crappy green and red neon sign flickering, while various bugs danced around it.

Heero swallowed and followed Johnson into the place.

*   *   *

"Like?" Duo asked as he escorted his date to their table.

Hitomi nodded, ducking her head between her shoulders, her palms held in front of her in a conserved and shy pose. She looked up and about the restaurant, watching all the wealthy people around, all dressed in formal suits and beautiful dresses, that made her own dress seem a little shabby.

Duo must have noticed that, because he suddenly took Hitomi's hand in his and kissed it softly. "Don't worry, you're beautiful." He whispered in her ear, smiling.

"You're embarrassing me." The girl whispered back, blushing.

"Just tellin' ya the truth, Heerrrr---Hitomi!"

The girl smiled again. "Thank you."

They arrived to their table, by the window. It was decorated with beautiful red roses and two white candles. Duo went over to Hitmoi's chair and pulled it back so she could sit. He smiled at her. "Ladies first, ne?"

Again the girl blushed and took her seat shyly. "Thank you."

*   *   *

Johnson threw himself into his seat, glaring up at the boy standing next to him, looking around nervously.

"Sit down." He spat; putting two arms on the back of the couch he was sitting on. It was located in the far corner of the dark and smoky club, along with two more arms chairs and a coffee table. Sitting in the other seats were four other men, all dressed in ragged clothes, reeking of cheap liquor and cigarette smoke. Their faces were unshaved and their eyes blood-shot.

Heero gawked at the men who were supposed to be his company for the evening, feeling very uncertain. He was never at a place like this, and he never hung around such people. He had no idea how he was going to survive this night.

"Well?! Sit down already! Geez! You look like a God damned flamingo!" Johnson called angrily.

"H-hai." Heero hurried to comply and sat down on the uncomfortable couch.

*   *   *

"Would you like to order, sir?"

Duo looked at his date, looking for her confirmation, making sure that she is ready to order.

The girl put down her menu, nodding her head.

Duo nodded as well, and looked down at his menu one last time. "Well, um... I would like a... cheese-burger?"

Hitomi raised an eyebrow.

Duo forced a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head. "Heh... heh... just kidding. I'll take the 200 gr entrecote steak." He looked up at his date.

Hitomi shook her head slightly, sighing. She then looked down at her menu. "Give me the lemon chicken dish, please."

Duo's smile suddenly disappeared. "Since when do you eat chicken?"

Hitomi raised an eyebrow, looking at him in confusion. "What makes you say that?"

"Aren't you vegetarian?"

Hitomi slowly closed her menu, frowning. "No. I never was."

"Oh." Duo let out thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "Ch! I wonder what made me think that..." He forced a chuckle. "Ah well, must have dreamt it or something..." He turned back to the waitress. "Just add some red wine to that order."

The waitress only smiled kindly and took their menus. "Right away, sir."

*   *   *

"What's yer order? Hurry up, I ain't got all night." The trashy looking waitress spat while chewing her gum, looking down at the gang with bored eyes.

"Give us another bottle here, sugar!" One of the guys called, waving an empty bottle.

The girl rolled her eyes and wrote it down. "Anything else?" She asked, looking down at the blond man sitting on the largest sofa, looking through a menu. Next to him sat a younger man, his body tense, his hands in his lap, and he is looking around nervously.

"Sir!?" The girl called, annoyed.

"Yeah, yeah, hold your horses..." Johnson muttered, looking through the menu. "Ya sure yer hungry?!" He spoke harshly, glaring up at Heero.

The Japanese boy shrunk deeper within himself, ducking his head between his shoulders. "I skipped lunch..." He whispered apologetically.

Johnson sighed deeply and turned back to the menu, scanning the few dishes the place offered. "You like salads and stuff, right?" He asked, not even looking up.

"H-hai." Heero answered quietly, shying away from everyone's gazes on him, including the annoyed waitress.

"Fucking hell, these damn weeds are too expensive 'round here..." Johnson muttered, flipping the page. He looked up at the waitress, slamming the menu shut. "Just give him a large fries or something!"

"Yes, sir!" The young woman snarled and snatched the menu away from him, sending a glare down at Heero.

"Sorry..." The Japanese boy whispered, bowing his head sorrowfully and squeezing his own hands tight. He hated being such a bother to Johnson; it only made the man angrier and ruder. All he wanted was a nice and quiet evening... like he used to have with Duo...

*   *   *

"And I'm like - Wow man! It's not like I didn't warn ya or anything..."

"And what did he say?"

"Chk! He threw me out! Can you believe that?! After all I did for the dude..."

"So he threw you out of the building? Again? What was it, the THIRD time?" Hitomi asked, amused.

"I know! And I was getting fuc-- I'm sorry, I was getting desperate for a place, right? And that's when..."

"When Heero came along." The girl finished for him, taking another bite from her food.

"Yep!" Duo answered, grinning. "Boy, he saved my as-- sorry, he saved me with that one." The braided man concluded, staring down at his own meal. It was mostly untouched, for he had been doing most of the talking. Hitomi hardly ever spoke, but it was okay with him. He was used to it, AND, in some weird way, it was comforting.

"Got anymore interesting stories?" The girl asked, smiling at him. "You seem to be talking a lot about that guy."

"I am?" Duo asked, blinking.

Hitomi nodded, wiping her mouth with a napkin. "Hm hmm. I feel like I know him so well by now. I really can't wait to meet him."

"Hey! That'll be great! We can double date or something!"

"Oh, he's got a girlfriend?"

"Well, not exactly..."

"Oh?"

"Well, remember I told you I set him up with someone?"

"Yes..."

"Well, I didn't necessarily say it was a she."

"Oh." The girl let out, blushing slightly.

"But he's a very nice guy!" Duo hurried to assure her. Suddenly, his smile faded. "Or so I heard..."

"Why? What's wrong? Isn't he happy?"

"Well, with Heero it's sorta hard to tell..." Duo sighed, scratching his head. "But I guess he is, otherwise, he wouldn't stick around him. Heero's not very trustful when it comes to people. It takes him AGES to feel comfortable next to them... It took me like TWO years to get close to him. So I guess he's doing okay, considering he's spending so much time with that Johnson fella after knowing him for such a short time."

"Well, maybe you should talk to Heero about it."

"Yeah, you're right." Duo agreed and then sighed. "If I can get hold of him..."

*   *   *

"Oh yeah?! Well little Joe here can take all ya pussies with a spoon!!" One fat and unshaved man shouted, taking a swig of his beer.

"Little Joe can't take out the trash!" Another cigar mouthed man protested. "Right Johnson?" The two turned to Johnson who was deep in his beer jug and spilled half of it on the floor.

"Ask Shorty, he looks sober..." Johnson spat while gulping his drink.

Now the two men turned to Heero, who had been sitting quietly the whole time, hands on his lap and he is unmoving. When he noticed the attention was turned to him, Heero swallowed and lifted his bowed head a little.

"Well?!" The two demanded.

"Um... I... I..." Heero stammered, trying to avoid the question. He had NO idea what the drunken men were talking about. All he really wanted was to get out of there. It was already late and he had to be in Une's office in the morning. He turned to Johnson, who was still seated next to him, and leaned closer to whisper in his ear.

"Are we going to leave soon?" He asked quietly, eyeing the drunken men warily.

"Leave?! LEAVE?! We just got here!"

"We've been sitting here for three hours." Heero reminded him carefully. "I really think we should go."

"Chk!" Johnson rolled his eyes, slamming his beer jug on the table. He then turned slowly to Heero, smiling slyly. He put his arm around the boy's slim waist and pulled him closer, so that Heero's head was pressed against his shoulder. "Relax, will you?" He whispered into his hair, and Heero wrinkled his nose at the smell of alcohol. "Just try and have a little fun for me? Eh?"

"I'm really sorry, Johnson, but I have to go..."

"Shhhh... Not yet..." The man whispered, caressing the boy's flushed cheek. He ran his finger down the boy's face, tracing his lips and jaw line, and then trailing down to his white neck. "Have a little drink, ehy? It'll make things more interesting." He offered gently, and then placed a small kiss on the pouting lips. "What do you say, blume? For me?"

Heero looked down at the drink Johnson was now offering him, his face uncertain.

"C'mon. Be a good boy." Johnson pushed, shoving the jug into Heero's hand.

Sighing, Heero brought the glass up to his lips, his eyes hesitant.

"C'mon..." Johnson spoke once again, and Heero emptied the jug quickly.

"That a boy!" Everyone cheered and Heero just made a disgusted face, putting the glass aside.

But Johnson made sure that there were many more to follow.

*   *   *

"I had a good time tonight." Hitomi began shyly, bowing her head a little.

"Me too." Duo answered. They were standing in front of Hitomi's door, after Duo had escorted her home.

"You better get going, you don't want to be tired at work tomorrow." The girl reminded him.

"Yeah, yer right. I got this big meeting with Une. Ch! I hate these things... they're so boring..."

The girl smiled kindly at him. "Well, goodnight." She said, preparing to unlock her door. But Duo caught her hand and slowly turned her around. He then kissed her gently on the lips.

"Night." He said back, after they parted.

Hitomi smiled, blushing. "I'll speak with you tomorrow." She promised, opening her door.

"Yeah, cool. I'll talk ta Heero 'bout that double date thing."

Hitomi nodded.

They kissed one last time and then said their goodbyes.

*   *   *

"Awww..." Heero moaned miserably, turning his head from side to side. He felt so hot. And nauseous. And dizzy. And sick. And tired. And crappy. And very much out of it. He felt as if he was flying, or hovering in the air, whichever was true. He couldn't move, and didn't even bother to open his eyes, because his world kept spinning.

He had never had so much to drink in his life, even when he was out with Duo. He didn't remember when he had thrown up so much. Not even in the Epyon cockpit did he heave so much. He just hoped that Johnson wouldn't get mad because he ruined his new car seats...

Speaking of Johnson, Heero wasn't sure where the man had disappeared. He sort of lost it after fainting in the car. And he was pretty sure that he was out of the car by now, for he could feel a cool breeze of fresh air.

He could also hear voices carried by that same breeze.

"Carry you like this... can't believe you got so drunk... my car... put it just last week... God damn it... why are you so heavy..?"

Heero just chuckled at the funny mumblings and let himself drift into sleep again, still feeling like he was flying.

*   *   *

Heero moaned as he felt something soft and warm touch his forehead. He stirred a little, feeling warm sheets rustle as he did, caressing his body. His eyes slowly fluttered open, and he blinked, looking up at face hovering above him. he smiled a little when he recognized Johnson, who had just rose up from kissing his forehead.

"Hey." The man greeted with a small smile.

"Hey." Heero answered quietly, closing his eyes. He felt so bad... He wondered where he was. Must be Johnson's place. And Johnson's car! He puked all over it! Damn! The German must be pissed!

"I'm sorry... I never drank so much before..." Heero slurred, sounding half asleep.

"It's okay..." Johnson soothed, running his hands down Heero's warm body. He kissed his neck gently, sending a trail of kisses down his chest.

Heero moaned silently, thrusting his head aside. He was hot as is it, but Johnson's teasing were making him even hotter.

"I'm sorry I ruined your party..." He whispered, dazedly.

"I'm sorry I ruined your party..." He whispered, dazedly.

Johnson chuckled, caressing Heero's cheek. "Don't worry about it, blume. It was nice to see you loosen up a little."

Heero smiled at him, a sweet little smile, his eyes following Johnson's fingers as they caressed his lips tenderly.

Johnson smiled back at the boy on the bed, petting his warm lips softly. He was surprised when he felt Heero's tongue sneak out and lick his finger shyly. His smile grew, and he teased Heero's bottom lip, nearly putting his finger in the boy's warm mouth, but not all the way.

Heero responded with another, bolder, lick, sucking Johnson's finger timidly. He smiled shyly, looking up at the man towering above him, and raised his head up a little, brining the whole digit into his mouth. He sucked on it gently, closing his eyes and letting his body take control over his numb mind.

Feeling the hot mouth closed around his finger, Johnson's lust for the boy grew by tenfold, and he leaned down quickly, replacing the finger with his mouth and tongue. Heero moaned into the mouth that was sucking and nibbling at his lips, his arms coming up to embrace the man tightly. Johnson did the same, letting his fingers roam all over the boy's body. He began unbuttoning his shirt.

Breathless, they broke the kiss, and Johnson kept looking down into those bottomless ocean blue eyes, his fingers still working on Heero's shirt.

"I never made love to anyone but Duo before..." Heero whispered, panting. His cheeks were flushed from their exercise and liquor, his lips red and swollen. He looked up at the man who straddled his body and reached up a hand to touch his face. "He was the only lover I ever had..."

"We can fix that." Johnson replied with a smirk, throwing Heero's shirt aside. He then leaned down to capture the boy's lips again.

Heero moaned and pressed his head deeper into the pillow, feeling Johnson's rough hands roam over his body. He closed his eyes in pleasure, and let Johnson's hands continue wandering.

TBC…
