Princess Jasmine's Harem

            The Best Guys EVER!

#1. Aladdin- When I was four, my family went to see Aladdin in theatres, and I instantly "fell in love" with the dreamy leading man. To me, he seems like the perfect guy; he's, "strong as 10 regular men, definatley," got a smile that rivals the brightness of the sun, he's sincere, sweet, totally lovable, honest(mostley), and big hearted enough to risk the thing he loves most to keep a promise. Another plus is that he learns the ultimate lesson: it's always better to be yourself than to pretend to be something you're not. Aladdin was my very first cartoon crush, and hey, he's still number one! One of the reasons he's lasted so long is that he is so sweet. When he goes to talk to Jasmine for the first time (as Ali) it's so sweet to listen to what he says. It amazes me that he cared so much that he would try as hard as he did to impress Jasmine. OMG! I almost forgot! Aladdin is also so CUTE!!!! He's irrisistable! The only bad thing about him is that he's married! But wait! He's married to Princess Jasmine, and I AM Princess Jasmine! Suddenly the world is perfect...

#2. Mike Wazowski- What can I say, he's irresistible! He's also the very first CGI character in my harem, which makes him oh-so special. I absolutely love his wit, and ironic charm. Half the best lines in the movie go to him (Why couldn't we get banished here?). Mike is just so, so, rad..

#3. Kent Mansley- This guy is sexy as all get-out, no question about it. Forget about Dean, Kent is the real heartthrob of the Iron Giant. After all, that ginger hair, those big, expressive eyes, that sexy smile, suggesting he's hiding something...**shivers**

#4. Patrick- Oh my God!! I can't believe I haven't added him to my harem until now! Patrick Star is the very first non-Disney char in my harem-he's the most individual character here! Patrick is definately the funniest character on Spongebob Squarepants. He has the funniest lines (You must think I'm pretty stupid, huh? Yes! Turn around!...Spongebob! Your house is gone!) and he is so cute! In a starfish sort of way...

#5. The Beast- I have a rather large stuffed animal of the Beast that I was "married" to for four years, enough said.

#6. Kuzko- Boom, baby! Kuzko has to be one of my favorites just because he's so funny. (To quote Aladdin: "A woman appriciates a man who can make her laugh!") Also, he's so conceited at the beginning it's hillarious("Ahhh! Llama face! Llama face!). I admire how in th end though, Kuzko found a true friend and that it's better to be loved by others than to love yourself.

#7. Kronk- A funny guy who can cook up a storm. He's so sweet, and not to mention, muscular. He's got a big heart, and he just wants to please everyone. Also, I've been wanting to learn how to cook, and boy, would it be a big help to have him around or what? The only reason he's way down here is because I value intelligent conversation, and with his intellect, well, you get it.

#8. The Genie- The main reason he's on my list is because he's so funny! Humor basically surrounds him. The Genie is one of those characters that I don't really have a crush on, but he'd be a good friend. Besides, think of how much fun Christmas would be with him around!

#9. Eric- Prince Eric is another beloved cartoon character I have come to adore. He falls for Ariel, even when she can't talk and tell him how she feels. Also, the person who voiced him was able to evoke so much emotion in his performance. It's incredible!

#10 Aladdin- Good enough to be on here twice! (What can I say, he's the BEST!!!)

            Those Female Role Models

#1. Jasmine- The most inspiring of all Disney characters, Jasmine is able to be who she wants to be even though it seems like everyone is against her. One thing I love about Jasmine is how confident she is. I also admire how in the face of adversity, Jasmine is able to overcome all the obstacles. The coolest thing about her, though, is how she doesn't want to marry a prince just because he's a prince, but she wants to marry a street rat for love. But I think Aladdin himself sums it up best, "She's smart, and, and fun, and, and...Beautiful! She's got this hair that just... and these eyes, wow, and her smile, ahh!" She is so cool! Wait, if I'm Jasmine (which I am!), that means I'm so cool! Awesome!

#2. Ariel- I've always htought I was a lot like Ariel. We both long for something more than what we grew up with and are willing to make sacrifices to attain our goals. Not only that, but we both have beautiful voices (according to everyone else), and fell in love at first site with a dark-haired man. Of course, mine wasn't a prince :)

#3. Belle- Belle is very inspiring because she refuses to marry Gaston even when everyone in the village says she should, and that she sees the Beast for who he is inside. The message of this movie is inner beauty, and Belle is the perfect heroine for it.

#4. Mulan- A girl who can weild a sword, do karate, wage war, and defeat an army single handedly? Do you need any more explination?

#5. Kida- Kida is just all-out amazing. I mean hell-OOOO, look at her! Not only is she well aware of her duties and responsibilities as a princess, she also cares deeply for her people and her country. She's also multi-lingual.

#6. Chicha- Who couldn't like this awesome gal? My favorite part in the whole movie is when she and the kids do all those awful things to Yezma. Pacha summed it up pretty well, "...they can take care of themselves."

#7. Pochahontas- A headstrong girl who won't give up what she loves because everyone says she should. She's a lot like Jasmine(Me!), Belle, and Ariel. The reason she's not higher up is because she's in a movie I'm not very fond of.

#8. Jane- I like Jane because the character is so funny and she knows what she wants. If you ask me though, she coulda' picked a better guy.

#9. Nala- Just about the sweetest, kindest, sexiest lion there is!

            #10. Me(Princess Jasmine)-I'm so neat!(and modest, too!)

            The Best/Worst Male Villans
The guy villans who are most evil and/or funniest

#1. Jafar is one of about 5 male antagonists, so he geets this spot almost by default. But not quite. Jafar is really the only all evil guy in a Disney movie. My favorite line of his is in the first movie where he keeps making all these cool (verbal and visual) puns during the fight scene. ("You're out of time, Princess! Don't toy with me! Things are unravelling fast now, boy! Get the point?...A snake, am I? Maybe it's time for you to see how snakelike I can be!) One of the ironic things about him is that he beat himself. His power-mad personality destroyed him, with some help from Aladdin. Jafar is a power mad, "...tall, dark, and sinister, ugly...", yet slightly funny villan worthy of the number one spot.

#2. Scar- The only other totally evil (male) Disney character. Scar is so mean and heartless, it's almost unnerving. He kills his brother to get the throne, it don't get much worse than that. The reason he's not number one is because Jafar has two things Scar doesn't: Jafar was so evil he out did himself, and Jafar had magic.

#3. Kronk- He's in the evil guy catagory and the good list because he's both. For most of the movie, Kronk is on the bad side, but in the end he learns his lesson. Kronk is definatley one of the most hillarious villans ever("What were the odds that trapdoor'd lead me out here?"), so he's at number three.

            The Best/Worst Female Villans
The evil gals who dominate the sinister side with humor and heartlessness

#1. Maleficant- This gal's so bad, she could be Jafar's girlfriend. Actually, there are some prominant similarities between the two. Both are magical, and in the battle, they turn into large reptiles(a snake and a dragon). Both villans have pet birds, an they have staffs. Jafar's look and movements were actually based on this domineering sorceress. This evil lady has forever set the standard for female villans.

#2. Ursula- She turns her "clients" into those little worm thingies, and she takes Ariel's voice to deceive Eric. Dang, how low can you get? Besides, those eels are just weird.

#3. Yezma- The funniest evil gal on this list, Yezma is the diva of bad. She carries a daggar under her skirt, has a "secret lab" filled with poisons, and she turns people into animals. This lady's so bad, she's almost good.

            The Sidekick Hall of Fame

#1. Abu- Even though it's basically impossible to understand him, he's still very funny, and a good sidekick, too. Aladdin has a good friend. Abu is especially neat because he is so elusive, and good at helping Aladdin get out of trouble.

#2. Mushu- A little dragon with a BIG attitude! Mushu is really neat because although he's so tiny, he can do so much. He's the ultimate in comedic relief.

#3.Lefou- Gaston's right hand man Lefou is neat because although he's pretty mean, you can see that he only hangs out with Gaston so he'll be on his good side, which means less chance of getting pummeled.

            Menial Characters
They don't do much, but we know they're there!

#1. The 'Narrator'(Aladdin)-This funny guy has one of the larger parts in this catagory, but it's short enough to be considered menial. I love how his animated sales pitch goes, especially the combination hookah and coffee maker that "will not break."

#2. The Three Bimbos(Beauty and the Beast)/The Three Dancers(Aladdin)- In BatB, they appear as three blonde, buxomus, and Gaston-crazy girls who are just hysterical. I love the way they faint when they finish their first song! In Aladdin, they reappear- this time with black hair and harem outfits! They're still fun to watch in this incarnation! For two songs in this movie ("One Jump Ahead";"Prince Ali") these girls sing to -and about- Aladdin. They have good voices, funny lyrics, and neat dance moves. Menial characters everywhere can take a hint from this (versatile) trio.

#3. Ariel's Sisters: Don't ask me why I like these six gals so much, I really don't know! I think it's mainly how they first appear; you know, out of those seashells!! But really, I don't know! (Adella is my favorite!!
