Future Trunks Special 3.20.00 --- 3.26.00
(Note: this story's got a little more ugh... adult content then my normal stuff)
*Like many of the movies, I'm not exactly sure if this could realalisticly fit any where... But it was writen at the same time as Final Destruction: Jeice and Golem's revenge, if that helps.*
Palace Vegeta was quiet for once, the mornings after the Saya-jins had a serious party night was always like this. The kids were to exsusted to do much else but sleep, and for other rasons, so were all the adults. It was spring on New Vegeta-sei, the warm winds filled the palace through open windows, and even the most die-hard worriors planned on loungeing around all day. In the master bed room, a lap top thrown on the floor beeped, the same familar sound as the scouter it mimiced. It's owner, Sarah the Saya-jins' Queen, paid it no heed, only half woken.
By noon, the kids had raided the fridge, and were now playing a viloent game of tag around the mountains. Carrie and Arctic, the super viloent youngest members of the Z-senshi, seemed powered by the idea of beating the hell out of eachother, even if they were the best of friends (sounds like Goten and Trunks...). Suddenly, Carrie stopped dead.
"Got cha!" Arctic was sent flying on his face as she ducked. "OK, Saya-jin girl, what was that for?" Arcitc drumbed his fingers in the mud, his purple/silver skin now brown.
"What was that?" Carrie tried to tune her sences over Arctic's grumbleing.
"Me, in the mud." Arctic got up, dripping sludge. "Hey lookie, a bug." Arctic pretended to eat someting.
"Artie, that's gross!" Carrie realed.
"No, this is gross." Arctic flung some mud off his arm at her.
"Artie, my shirt!" Carrie screamed, the mud hitting her shirt.
"That's what I get for being best friends with a girl!" Arcitc took off, knowing he was in for a beating for that one.
"Why you dumb lizard!" Carrie took off after him. "I'll show you just how dangerous it is to mess with this girl!" Carrie sent mud in all directions as she took off. From a ledge on the mountain, two sharply tuned eyes followed the young warriors.
'A Saya-jin and one of Freeza's kind? How is this possable? One of them must be a tratior. Not that it matters. If neccasary, I'll just destroy them both.'
For 18, training was a simple matter, not the huge sparring deal that her Saya-jin comrads made it. She went running every morning, which today was actually around 13:00, came back to help make lunch, which today would be dinner, then worried about sparring. Now she jogged along the outside of the palace guardens, in sweat pants and a t-shirt, her hair bouncing at her shoulders. She started to pick up the pace as she got close to the mountains. Then, something pricked at her sences. A fumilar power signature. She stopped and looked around, it was still there, but she could see it. Suddenly, she ducked and turned, jumping back from her attacker. She stood stunned.
"Trunks?" She squinted. The lavander haired Saya-jin stood there, black pants and tanktop, short blue Capsule Corp jacket and sword. "It's you!" 18 realized. He seemed almost in a daze. Suddenly, he sprung. 18 had to jump back to avoid be run through. He quickly snapped his hand back, all the force of an angry Saya-jin flung into her face. 18 rolled across the ground, jaw broken, into a bush. Suddenly, Spike sprang from the guarden in 18's defence, only to get smacked, whimpering to the ground.
"What's going on?!?" Krillian dropped in, he'd senced his wife in trouble and come running.
"Kr.. Krillian-san?" Future Trunks stagarded, holding his head. 18 groaned, Krillian dropped to her side.
"Don't move, 18." Krillian gently sat her up. She smiled seeing him, this all seemed to deeply bother Future Trunks. "What's going on? That's some welcome!" Krillian looked back towards the palace. He hadn't been the only one to sence 18 in trouble. Gohan, Trunks and Goten all landed near by. Trunks seemed down right shocked, but he quickly was able to piece together who this was. Future Trunks got a warmer reception from them, as he appologized to 18. He explained he was still really dazed from crossing timelines, and it was the effects of that. With that, they all headed back to the palace. Trunks kept a close eye on his 'future' counter part, there was something off about this guy. They all landed at the palace's back entry way, walking in. One of the first people they saw was Sarah, walking to the gravity room.
"Sarah-sama." Future Trunks greated her. She'd never liked him, and he'd always tried to figure out why. Sarah got over the suprise in a sonic second and looked to the real Trunks. "Sarah, it's good to see you again." Future Trunks walked to her.
"Whatever." Sarah headed for the gravity room. "Don't know how the hell you guys plan to spring this one on Vegeta." Sarah sighed, they all followed her. Sarah turned into the gravity room. Vegeta looked a little suprised when Future Trunks walked in, and shocked when the real Trunks followed him.
"Well, look who's back." Vegeta folded his arms. "Everyone else clear out." Vegeta motioned. No one agrued. In fact, everyone looked to Future Trunks with pitty in their eyes.
With in an hour, Future Trunks had been fed a senzu been through a straw, and was getting over the shock of fighting the level 5 Super Saya-jin. There were some serious other shocks too; he had a brother and 2 sisters (or the real Trunks did), Bulma was long dead, Vegeta and Sarah were now married, the real Trunks had married Krillian and 18's daughter Marron, and Arcitc, Freeza's grandson, was one of the Z-worriors (to name a few). The differences between the 2 Trunks's were endless; apperance, and attitude.
"After I destroyed the androids in my time, I took some time to train, and better my world. About 5 years, actually. Then, I descided I wanted to see how different the two timelines were. My mother was able to set the time machine to only switch timelines, and that's how I got here." Future Trunks explained to now all the Z-worriors. Carrie walked over and stood in front of him. She looked him over with a disgust in her eyes.
"You're not Trunks." She concluded, then turned to Vegeta. "Papa, he's evil." Carrie pointed to F. Trunks.
"Carrie, that's not a very nice thing to say." Gokou told her.
"What would you know, Kakarotto?" Carrie snapped. F. Trunks easily figured out that Carrie was exactly like her mother, and probably to be just as feared. He couldn't help but steal a glance of 18 every chance he got. Was she treuly changed? He hadn't believed it then, and he didn't believe it now. Even with her human apperance, she was still the same bitch who broke Vegeta's arm and his sword, and nearly destroyed them all. So why had the Z-worriors welcomed her as one of their own? He figured there was something off.
'Like I told you, they've all been taken under by the power you fought so hard to destroy. Now do you understand what you must do?' Trunks silently nodded to the voice no one else heard.
The Capsule Corp., late that night. With the constant threat of Chiller's attack, Trunks had been training on New Vegeta-sei most days, and Marron had learned not to wait up for him. She turned the radio on low, even if she could have turned it up all the way and still not woken Dr. and Mrs. Briefs. She sat down in front of her mirrior and brushed her long blond hair. A cold draft hit her back as the windows opened.
"Trunks?" Marron turned. "Wow, since when did you start making enterences like your dad, huh? Hey, what's with the outfit?" Marron raised an eyebrow, she also could sware his hair was longer then it was that morning. He looked her over as well. She was much more obviously 18's daughter then Krillian's, her long blond hair hung loosly over her pink night gown, crystal blue eyes sparkled. "Fine, be the mysterious Saya-jin." Marron sighed. She turned back to the mirror, suddenly he was on top of her. "Trunks, what are you..." She yelled, then got a good look into his eyes. Trunks' eyes had always been deep since he was very young, but this man's eyes were not only deep, but truely tortured. Marron tried to shove him off but couldn't. "Let me go!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. Her company only smirked, flinging her back on the bed. "When my husband gets through with you..." Marron half cried.
"You're husband shows up, and I'll kill him." Future Trunks half laughed, pinning her down. She again screamed as loud as she could, but there was no one in ear shot but a couple of deef old people...
Trunks sprinted in the Capsule Corp's front door.
"MARRON!!!" He screamed fromt he living room, no answer. He jumped up the stairs and ran towards their room. He didn't know how, but some how he knew she had only seconds to live. He got to his room, the door was locked. He easily kicked it open. The sight would be forever burned in his mind. Future Trunks was throwing his jacket back on, his sword in his hand. Marron lay naked on the bed, her body sliced and bruised. "You..." Trunks couldn't control his rage, all in half a second going Super Saya-jin and sending his evil counter part out the window. "Marron..." Trunks knelt by her with tears in his eyes, going back to noramal. He pulled a pouch of senzu beams from his pocket. Marron woke with a start and screamed. "Marron, Marron, it's me!" Trunks grabbed both her hands. She got a good look in his deep blue eyes.
"Trunks!" Marron fell crying into his strong arms.
"It's OK." Trunks held her tight.
"Trunks, who is that? He looks just like you..." Marron still couldn't let go.
"He is, in a way. I'll explain later." Trunks looked out into the yard and saw you know who getting up. "Get dressed and go hide. I've got to hope I'm stronger then this monster." Trunks didn't give her time to argue before he was out the window. Going Super Saya-jin, Trunks looked across the guarden at himself, rage again began to boil up inside him. "You dare touch my wife..." Trunks hit level 2. "I'll make you pay." He shot across the gap, getting into a feirce struggle. They both finally settled, Future Trunks over Trunks, pulling his sword. Blades clashed as Trunks guarded with his own sword, the identical blades grinding. Trunks strained, dammit this guy was strong. Risk time. Flipping out from under his attacker, Trunks swept his leg out from under him, sending Future Trunks flying across the guarden and into a fountain, sending a gusher 100's of meters into the air. Trunks breathed hard. One thing he did remember was that he'd been trained by Vegeta his entire life, Future Trunks hadn't. That meant Trunks was faster, slightly stronger, and a hell of a lot more stuborn. Future Trunks huffed, pulling his face from the mud, but was still buckled over. Trunks walked closer. "Get up so can at least kill you with some honor." Trunks tightly gripped his sword. Future Trunks looked up in rage, shocking Trunks. Now visable on his forhead, the paint still dripping off, was a black script M. "No way..." Trunks was suddenly met with thousands of memeories of his father being possessed by Badi-di, and becoming the super violent Majin Vegeta. Now It all made snece. Future Trunks had been ready for the andrioids, but that had only made way for Majin Buu and group. Now Trunks stood face to face with a very pissed off Majin Trunks. Majin stood up, powering up to level 3. Trunks easily matched the level. Majin threw off his totaled jacket, bearing his muscle bound arms. This made Trunks look much weaker, his arms covered by his long sleave shirt, but their power levels evened out. "You wont leave here alive." Trunks promiced Majin.
"I'm going to destroy all of you for your betrayal!" Majin suddenly rushed Trunks. Trunks dodged back, bringing his knee up into Majin's chest and elbow him into the ground. Majin sprung back with a laugh.
"Should have seen that one coming. One of dad's oldest tricks." Majin laughed. Trunks growled, how dare this vulgar monster dare to claim to be Vegeta's son?
"You're not even a Saya-jin. Just a monster." Trunks growled. They both sprung at the same time. Trunks got the upper hand for a second, grabbed Majin's boot and flung him towards the empty plains. Trunks flew over him, pushing level 3's bounds. "For Marron's sake..." Trunks shook away a tear, letting his ki surge to dangerous levels. 'Dad said never to use this, but he did it for us. Someone has to stop this manic, now.' Trunks got as close to Majin as he could. "ULTIMATE FINAL SKILL!!!" With that, the entire world seemed to explode.
"Trunks! Dammit boy, wake up!!" Vegeta shook Trunks awake. He was in the medical room at the Capsule Crop. Vegeta looked down at him with big worried eyes (wow, Veggie, I'm shocked!).
"Dad..." Trunks rubbed his head. "What happened?"
"You tell me." Vegeta folded his arms. "You don't go useing a suiside move for no good reason."
"Why am I alive?" Trunks asked.
"You're immortal. There for your life energy can't be used up. Now what happened?" Vegeta pressed.
"Ugh, Vegeta?" Krillian popped his head in the door. "Trunks! Man, were we worried about you!"
"Krillian-san, where's Marron?" Trunks got to the floor. Krillian pointed down the hall and Trunks sprinted out. Krillian turned to Vegeta.
"I'm going to kill that guy myself if he's still alive." Krillian swore.
"Would someone please tell me what the hell happened?!?" Vegeta demenaded. Krillian jumped back, but slowly explained what Marron had told him.
"Majin..." Vegeta walked from the room. His mind raced, he remember that saga all too well. He honestly hoped Majin Trunks was still alive, then there might actually be time to set things right...
Marron was alright, still more scared then anything, but at least with Trunks on one side of her and Arctic on the other she felt rather safe. After everything that happened, Arctic had sworn to Marron he wouldn't leave her side, so Trunks could go get even. But Marron knew, as sweet as the offer was, Arctic was no match for Majin Trunks, no mater how strong his heart was. Sarah swore at her computer, getting information between timelines wasn't easy.
"Sarah, what the hell are you swearing at?" Vegeta walked in, Krillian walked behind him.
"I'm try to hack into a computer that, according to us, doesn't exist. At least I still remember all of Bulma's passwords..." Sarah sighed, running her hand through her hair. "I'm trying to figure out what happened. According to what I could get, when Babi-di arrived, the first thing he did was possess their Trunks. He turned their world inside out, much worse then any of the andrioids. After that, they turned thier attention to the time line with something to actually win."
"Ours." Trunks sighed. "So what now, we have to go to the other timeline?"
"Hey, aren't we just so lucky!" Sarah found something that made her day. "According to this, our dear friend didn't come here alone."
'Wake up, you worthless monkey.' The voice in Majin Trunks' head again. He slowly pulled himself from the rocks. Babi-di floated over him. "You didn't destroy them like I told you to."
"Trunks is stronger then me." Majin admitted. He clothes were torn and sliced, his body bloody.
"You're the same person! How can he be stronger?!?" Babi-di yelled.
"Shut up!!" Majin Trunks went to fling a fireball, but his arm stopped in mid air.
"You can't hurt me, slave. Now, did you forget you have to destroy that android and her allies?"
"I wont do it! They're my family!" Majin Trunks yelled.
"You have no family! You killed your mother yourself! The Vegeta here has a son named Trunks, and it's not you! Get used to it, I'm all you have!" Babi-di laughed. Trunks winced, thanks to the possession, that had made sence. "Now get going, you have to..."
"That's enough!!" Vegeta's voice shut Babi-di up. "Release him, or I'll kill you."
"Vegeta, what a plesant suprise." Babi-di smiked. Sarah and Golem floated up behind him. "This is the family that betrayed you, Trunks. Destroy them!" Like a trained bird, Majin Trunks sprung.
"Try not to hurt him, I'm going after that wrinkled little rat!" Sarah sprinted around after Babi-di. "Oh no you don't..." Sarah saw him try to leave. He manage to run for a while, but couldn't ditch her.
"Trunks stop it!!" Golem kicked him, but tried not to brake any ribs. Vegeta realized this wasn't working. Majin Trunks and Golem were pretty close power wise, and Vegeta took off to find Sarah. Majin Trunks saw this and followed after Vegeta. "Dad, behind you!!" Golem called just in time from Vegeta to see the shot that knocked him into the ground. Sarah's attention destracted, she took off to help Vegeta. Suddenly, a huge sphear of energy engulf the 3 Saya-jins.
"I have you now." Babi-di emerged laughing. Majin Trunks stood off to the side, his arms rasied, holding the cage of energy. "Close it! Crush them like bugs!!" Babi-di ordered. "I want to see thier faces when..." He was suddenly cut off, a sharp blade peirceing his lungs. Trunks ripped his sword from Babi-di's body, both Babi-di and Majin Trunks hit the dirt, the cage falling.
"Trunks! Hey, nice save bro!" Golem gave him a high five, looking down at Babi-di's bloody corpse. Slowly, Future Trunks pulled himself up, the script M gone.
"Otousan?" Future Trunks saw Vegeta's fumilar scoul. "Wha.. What happened?"
"I should probably warn you about a little Tisfou-jin named Baby while I'm at it." Vegeta half joked.
Palace Vegeta, the next morning.
"Thanks for everything, everyone." Future Trunks climbed back into his time machine. "Trunks, I can't possable tell you how sorry I am. I will someday make it up to you."
"No, that's fine. How about you just stay in your own little world, OK?" Trunks winced. Future Trunks didn't take it to heart, waved goodbye and took off.
"Well, does anyone else wish that never happened?" Sarah sighed.
"I told you he was evil, Papa." Carrie folded her arms. "I can tell these things."
"Yeah? Well you know next time, we'll all be listening." Golem sighed, he had a point. Carrie smiled to herself, she was going to hold him to that.
Trunks polished the dammage on his sword out of visability. Before this, the mention of his conterpart had always made him uneasy. But now Trunks knew if there was one true Trunks, Saya-jin warrior, it was him.
Postscript
Future Trunks returned to his timeline, free of Babi-di's control. The dammaged caused wasn't reparable, but at least now, he knew how to destroy the next threat.
