At 32 years of age, LaSara FireFox has nearly 20 years experience in activism and community organizing. Yes, she started young. Driven by a nearly compulsive need to make the world a better place, she has been active in the human rights movement, the anti-racist movement, the anti-war movement, the environmental movement, the anti-nuclear movement, the anarchist movement, and more recently (since the early 1990s) the sex-radical and queer communities. She is a writer, workshop presenter, and an ordained clergy member.
Ms. FireFox grew up on a semi-famous back-to-the-land settlement based in Northern California, called Greenfield Ranch. LaSara has served as president to two non-profit organizations, and has extensive experience working with complicated interpersonal dynamics and modified forms of consensus decision making. She is also a facilitator and moderator trained in pure consensus, and has copious amounts of experience working with Robert´s Rules of Order, both pure and modified.
LaSara has been designing and facilitating her own workshops and rituals since 1986, and loves to create opportunities for change and personal growth. Most of her workshops include elements of ritual, ceremony and magick, and pertain to interpersonal communication, spirituality and sexuality.
