Summer Weekend Retreat for Women

In this weekend-long intensive you will be given the opportunity to step into your power as a woman; your self-defined, strong, sensually and sexually aware, Dark Goddess power.

Our post-solstice weekend schedule includes workshops and ritual designed to bring us closer to our authentic expression of self; to give us icons and examples of female power and empowerment; to give us the opportunity to grieve and mourn the places we´ve been wounded, to celebrate the healing we have achieved, and to savor the support we can offer one another. Nights will be spent around a campfire ritualizing, story telling, singing, crying, laughing and celebrating our unique gifts under the brilliant stars of a dark-moon sky. Our weekend of work and celebration will culminate in an afternoon of powerful ceremony including a recognition of spiritual lineage, and LaSara´s intense, tender, empowering and revealing Goddess in the Mirror ritual; a life-changing ceremony of empowerment, celebration, and worship of each of us as the divine beings we are.

This retreat will be a renewing experience of emotional purgation, transformation, and ecstatic revelation. We will luxuriate in beautiful environs, good food, good fun, and lots of grrl/Goddess energy. The event takes place at the River House on the Eel River in Mendocino County. Time for relaxation, swimming, walking, yoga, massage and other nurturing treatments will be built into the flow of events. You may also choose to avail yourself of an appointment with an on-site masseuse, tarot or psychic reader, or beauty and relaxation specialist.
