This Odd Crush

When I was a little kid, around seven or so, all of my friends had crushes on the New Kids On The Block. I never got the appeal, as I thought they were all dorks, but I did have a big crush on one particular recording artist that had never gone away. I have a thing for Weird Al.

I don't really get it. Since he went and got an image change, and no longer looks like Ronald McDonald with a mustache, I can't look at him without drooling slightly. He is a funny, intelligent, flexible guy with long hair and a nice body. It does it for me ever time.

I have no idea where this came from. My parents certainly didn't have a lot of Weird Al stuff around when I was little. Their parody musician tastes run more towards Spike Jones and Tom Lehr. None of my friends at that time listened to any of Weird Al's stuff. For some ungodly reason, I have a major thing for the man who has imitated Michel Jackson more than any strait man should.

But what really tore it for me was the Trent Reznor* imitation. In my humble opinion Trent Reznor* is a musical GOD. I have acquaintances that tell me they have actually MET the Reznor* (they say he likes to be called "Mike", but they very well could be shitting me)and I can barely comprehend it. And I have never actually seen a picture of Trent Reznor*, his lyrics and voice and music just do me in every time (This should give people an idea about how tweaky I am, I find 'hurt' attractive). So Weird Al impersonating Trent Reznor nearly sent me out of my seat in a little puddle of unrepentant lust.

Unfortunatly, Weird Al is now married to a female who is very, very cute, and one must also assume nice and forgiving of idiosyncrasies. So my shot at bagging Weird Al is gone, but one can always hope.

*for thoes of you out there who do not know who Trent Reznor is, he is the driving force behind Nine Inch Nails. You are now officially banned from my website untill you go listen to some of his music. Knave!
