My beautiful, beautiful boys
Okay, so it wasn't like I'd given up with two outs in the ninth, trailing 2-1 to Detroit. But I was, perhaps, a little dispirited. And then it happened: Youk hit a two-run blast to give the Sox the advantage. And then I was screaming, "Bring out the 'Bot!" Yes, he of the steely eyes came charging out of the pen, nostrils flaring, eyes glaring, and shut down the Tigers, 1-2-3. God, he makes 20 consecutive saves look so easy.

Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in! Man, I love this game.
