I can see again

New eyes
Okay, so I could see before. Apparently, my prescription has only changed slightly since I last got glasses -- in 2000. I felt it was time to yet again suffer the weird puff of air in my eye to make sure I don't have glaucoma or other hideous eye disease. Oh, yeah, and to make sure I'm not going blind. My doc said that he doesn't anticipate my eyes getting much worse, which I thought was sweet at first, but then I realized it minimizes the effectiveness of my "But I need to buy new $300 glasses and it's not just because I want new frames that look cute" excuse. But don't my new frames look cute? I feel extra smart in them. Almost like I could solve a math problem.

I am a little worried that I'm going to miss the old ones. So I'm keeping them just in case.
