I think people hold record contracts in too high
esteem these days, the deal itself doesn’t
necessarily do much (except pay your studio bills).
It’s far from glamour. You gotta make deal
that gives you freedom to make your own
decisions and solutions. I really pity bands that
moarn and moarn about their bad record sales
or that they had to do something they really didn’t
want to do. It’s up to you, the record deal is not
a ticket to paradise, it takes a lot work
and the record label must stand behind their artists
and make their part of the job as well as possible,
too. Yeah, well, I could write a novel about this topic, I guess..

Came back from UK just few days ago. It was k00l trip,
still I miss Oulu maybe even more!! Why?
Never been there, that's why.
The k00lest thing in London was that the flowers were in bloom already.
Summer summer, donna, I'm coming. Right now I'm
waiting to see all the photos we shot in there and
getting ready to design our third album covers
(hopefully with my friend Jukka K.) I guess it's gonna
be an interesting project! And also much rehearsing,
we gotta make our new songs feel like they're ours.
It takes a lot of time, nerves and patience.
But it's actually the most comfortable way to spend your time!
Rehearsing, playing gigs, doing the album covers.
Right now I'm pretty occupied with all this,
and that's fine for me.

Fuck, it's been too long since I was here last time,
I've been working. Okay, been lazy. Holy spirit just doesn't feed
you actually. Right now I can finally concentrate
to the music and in fact we've already done some
demotapes of our new material and in x-mas time
we're starting new recording session!
Let's see what happens next year.. This
passing year has been pretty nice, relaxing period
in our lives. Not too much gigs, not too much of anything
involving our band. But still: new releases, new songs,
new business deals, couple of trips to Europe.
Things are pretty grounded right now. I'm pleased,
wheh, JUST KIDDING!!

Today I got my bands first vinyl ep in my hands, bloody
unbelievable. This is the day that I've been living for (for real?)!
It feels so good when things are running the way you want them
to run. I haven't felt this enthusiastic for a long time.
Nice way to start your weekend, baby! Don't look back,
it's only rock 'n roll, but you like it, as we all know!

It's May!! Where's my summer?
I have woke up at 4.10 a.m. every morning this week
(except on Thursday which was a national hangover day in here!).
So on Wednesday here was this
fucking Finnish party-day called VAPPU. Everybody
is too drunk and dizzy and students think
it's funny when they hang around in the city
in their overalls and hats.. and actually it is kinda fun.
We had a blast in our friends party watching
an ice hockey game, drinking beer. What more can you expect?
Nice company and a bit more champagne.
Today a trip to an art gallery (Tokio Still Life,
Tre Taidemuseo), some water color painting maybe
and a whole bunch of relaxing Friday series in TV
(which IS my best friend actually). KABOOM--ach!

Bitch had a brilliant rehearsals last weekend, and
now there's goddamn diamond hit songs waiting for
our next recording session!! Liberating,
isn't it? I was wondering if we could ever have a
stunning sessions at our rehearsal cellar
anymore. Felt like it was always for the next gig
or the next something, not for today. Now we have
time to make new songs and get inspirated,
get experienced, fucking twist and shout. What
else do you need than YO-talo vip card and the
fucking good band?! (Although the first one is
something I don't have anymore but pay no mind..)

One gig-trip to Hellsinki is over again: lots of beer and
drunken people and weird music (at least that Russian
band took care of that..) My heart is burning
for Russia. Wherever, I want to leave Finland
for a while, get some experiences. Maybe next summer.
Right now I'm working like an animal to save some money.
Let's see what happens. Roskilde, here we come again, I hope.

a trip to hellsinki is once again over. I feel
exhausted, i travelled to tampere last night,
went to bed at 6.30 a.m. and woke up like 11 a.m.
well, last nites gig was cool, little audience,
but hey, you get used to it in finland!! dunno,
i've got absolutely nothing to say. but you little
brats keep it reeeel..ehh, too bad, i'm tired anyway.

Looouzy life i'm living here!! On Tuesday I thought I
should finally get myself together so I went to
a library and borrowed a high school philosophy textbook.
Maybe i'll finally understand something about this life in this universum and all.
Anyway, right now i just need a decent job, a driver's
license and a microwawe and think i'm pretty close already.
Nah, just kidding. Keep it up, people! Nightmares.

I fucking luuv to play gigs with bitches!! Last nite we were in Lahti playing in Kasisali.
Loads of drunken teenagers (hi there!!), lovely people.
We arrived unfortunately so late that we were able to
see only two bands, Kärhü and No Shame (very very nice show!!) before we went to play our own show.
People were crazy as always in Lahti and we had a blast. Thank ya all
(specially you little girl who's got a brand new t-shirt today..)! *blinks*
