He will show you how to escape temptations power so that you can bear up patiently against it." I Corinthians 10:13 I have always been overweight, but had managed to stay under 200 lbs. But after having three children I grew into a big 285 lbs. It doesn't really depress me, but I know that my health depends on losing this extra weight. I have two beautiful sons, Todd and Jason, that I would like to be able to run around with and do fun mommy stuff. But my weight makes it hard. Also, my husband has gained 50 lbs since he met me, and has had 2 heartattacks. If it could happen to him, it could happen to me. I started Weight Watchers on Jan. 29, 2002, with my friend Linda. I found that having her doing the program along with me had given me encouragement and kept me on track. I have fallen off track since June, but plan on a full comeback soon. Trying to get health back in order and then will be ready to concentrate on acheiving my weight loss goals. Plus, I had God at my side and his love shining on me kept me from straying. If it wasn't for the Lord, I would have no strength and courage to do what I am doing. Praise the Lord. Currently I am working full time as a Camera Operator at a large microfilming plant. I spend 8 hours a night taking pictures of hospital (or other kinds) documents to be placed on microfilm for easier storage and retrieval. The job can be monotonous, but I have fun. Also, I am working on my certification to become a Doula. A Doula is a woman who provides prenatal and labor support to women in need of the support only a woman can truly understand and give. While working on my certification, I am providing my services for FREE. I feel that my talent is a gift from God and I should repay him by using that talent in a positive and unshelfish way.
