I have spent a long time looking for links which provide help and assistance to those who self harm, as well as information for people who want to learn more and gain a better understanding of it.

Support and Information Sites.

Self-Injury Awareness Movement - A site dedicated to providing a wider awareness of self injury. You can buy ribbons and bracelets to help the cause. Also contains links to other sites.

NBC (national childrens bureau) - Brilliant site about young people and self harm. Provides lots of links to sites around the world with help and support for young self harmers.

Secret Shame- Very good site with lots of information and support for self harmers and their families and friends.

Self Injury- Information and Resources. A great place to get any information you want about self injury.

Befrienders International - Befrienders site, contains help and advice and access to worldwide helplines.

Somerset Eating Disorders Association - Nice message forum and lots of information.

Project Spear- A really really good support site. Definitely one to look at.

Self Harm Alliance- a voluntary service designed to help people cope with self harm and related issues.

Voices Inside My Head- A great new support forum

Can't Shout Can't Scream- A fab online self-harm 'zine which also includes links to other sites.
