Welcome to Chelsiland (aka My World)

My favorite things about being done with school:

days 'til I turn 23. I heard your 23rd year is like 4 years of fun all rolled into one, and 27 is like another 3. We'll see...

I think that this is one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. I'm not a terribly dark, twisted person (usually), but I love fog, and I love spooky, bare trees. This is especially good for the Haloween season, but I'm considering keeping it here on my page longer.
Today was the first semi-cold day out here in the D.C. area (yes, I decided to come back to D.C. It ain't E-town, but it does still rock!). People were wearing sweaters and jackets, but I somehow managed to come to work in flip-flops. I've never witnessed a change in fashion due to seasonal change before. Weird. Of course, I've never really noticed a seasonal change before.

I was looking through random pictures, and this one really stuck out to me. Why? Because I have absolutely no idea what it is. It looks like a burning clock radio. I found it under the category "Historical Monuments".
You know, this picture really reminds me of something right out of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. That was such a classic movie. I went to see that in the movie theater when it came out after my cousins and I earned the money for the ticket by picking several buckets of apricots in Fresno.
Some of my other favorites are almost anything by Tim Burton (sans Planet of the Apes), Shrek, Ocean's 11, The Usual Suspects, Moulin Rouge, anything by Alfred Hitchcock, Beauty and the Beast, American Beauty, and, of course, Clue. And about a million others. Ooh, ooh! And any movie with girls kicking butt (i.e. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Charlie's Angels, and Blue Crush). I don't like chick flicks, especially Jane Austen or anything starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I like like them both individually, but they sure choose sappy films to star in together. Gag me!

I miss SF. Especially with the sun setting from the Marin County side of the bay. Beautiful.
Peace out,

Chelsea

Doesn't anyone want to be a vacuum??!! I guess that "a powerful little sucker" isn't exactly the way most people see themselves...
