It hurts when a flag falls on your head, It hurt even more with a rifle or saber.
In arizona, you don’t need the cool colorgaurd jacket for most of the season
You do not twirl, you spin
You tend to spin random objects
A flag, and a rifle say we ARE part of the band
We aren't in band when they want to charge us fees
How many Guard members does it take to change a light bulb? Actually, we function just fine in the dark.
If it doesn't work, hit it. If it's in your way knock it down.

special 6 foot flags= no toss routine, yeah!
Sure, a cheerleeder can do the splits, but can she toss her pom poms in the and catch them, and smile.
If the guard is where its supposed to b and your not, chances are you will get hit

Colorguard is very protective of their equipment.
When placed right under the drum major podium, it is a good idea not to hit them with your toss.
The band is the christmas tree, and we are the ornaments, without us they look cheap!
But even without them, we look great!

There not Poles, their flags
Don’t mess with our talent
Eletrical tape is the answer
The darker the electical tape, the heavier it is
Bugs and mosquitoes KNOW when you are standing at attention, and they know you cant move
It is nice to to yell GO GUARD to the opposing guard
No matter how elaborate the costume is for the other guard, your own is always better.
Never close the guard room door, perc. may lock you in. (Happened in the past)
Deoderant and air fresheners are your friends
We are NOT cheerleaders!
The guard has 4 jobs during the game, routine, smile pretty, dance in the stands, and harras cheerleaders.
You CAN fit 22 girls in a storage closet
If the captains are identical twins, it’s a good idea to know how to tell them apart.
COVER DOWN and SET are the two most said words to the guard
After a while when something hits you, it doesn’t hurt anymore
