Blue as ice, they burn like fire,
Deep within is my desire.
Far beyond that bright blue light,
Far beyond my human sight,
There is what I hope to find
(A love of the immortal kind).
The color from the clearest skies
Is trapped here in these loving eyes.
Suddenly that blue turns red
(Makes me wish that I were dead).
Replacing cleanest, bluest flood
With the darkest, redest blood.
Standing there I feel defeated.
All my strength has been depleated.
I'm not sure just what to do.
I fear the red that masks the blue.
Lightning strikes, white as a dove.
Loving eyes no longer love.
I look at her...she looks at me.
Her blue eyes can no longer see.
Slowly evil walks my way,
Forcing me (somehow) to stay.
Suddenly my feet are boulders,
As her arms wrap 'round my shoulders.
Here we stand, now face to face.
There's no exit to this place.
Drawing closer to me now,
She gains control of me somehow,
With a tender, gentle kiss,
There's no sweeter death than this.
I don't know I move my hand.
On her smooth back it's rough as sand.
I thought a kiss (a simple peck)
Had found its way down to my neck,
But then I felt her two sharp fangs,
Felt my pulse repeating in bangs.
Standing there I hold on tight
As her soft lips put out my light.
Now I can no longer stand.
She makes a cut below her hand.
Then she allows the blood to drip,
Flowing softly past my lip.
As the evil fills my heart,
Now I know we'll never part.
I see her eyes return to blue.
Two bright crystals, clear and new.
She looks at me and starts to cry,
Though she didn't let me die.
It seems that part of her is dead,
Killed by the thick and darkened red.
Though silent now, it still was there.
She runs her hand through my long hair.
Our eyes connect...I touch her cheek...
Reluctantly she starts to speak.
She's sorry that she hurt me so...
She said she couldn't let me go...
She tried so hard to stop the red...
She drank 'till I was almost dead.
I feel my heart that starts to stir...
What great love I have for her...
Both of us will live forever...
All our times we'll spend together...
Living, loving, always caring...
All eternity we'll be sharing...
