I love my pet's and I feel like each one of them has alot to add to my life. I think it's unjust when animals face issues in which they cannot stand up for themselves, and i feel very strongly about helping them. I have added a few links to some shelters, and to a couple charities. Please take a quick look at them. By simply clicking on some of those links, you have already done more than enough.
The Pet's
Figaro - Got him when he was around 2 weeks old. He was really small and thin, and needed to be taken care of around the clock and fed thru a special baby bottle. Hes a male cat, and he was brought over from Rosarito.Mexico. He is the spunky and BIG (20LB+) Kitty we all love... Koby - Hes also a male cat that i got exactly one year after Figaro. He was found amongst dirt and rubble at a contruction site (apartment renovation)where he was left behind in one of the second floor apartments and had wandered off and fell to the ground...Luckily he didnt have any major physical trauma, but emotionaly he was marked for life. He was socially shy and had strong fears of people and loud noises. He too was at a young age (estimated 3 weeks old) and was bottle fed and cared for. Thankfully, the time i spent with him formed a bond between the two of us, and he seems to feel comfortable enough around me to break out of his shy shell and be a happy cat.It has been 6 years since he joined my family, and he has made MAJOR progress...now making his own attempts to be comfortable around people, and less agitated and startled by noises and strangers. I love my Coco Bean! Dorothy - This little Princess was given to me by my loving Tony on Halloween (2005). She is the first female addition to my family since my beloved Lulu Lulu - My deceased pet bird...i loved her. She would live her life out of her cage, walking amongst the cat's like she was a part of them. Sadly, a few years back she injured her wing and died. Pepe, Lucas & Lucky - Ha, if youve been to my house, you know Pepe is the green parrot that has a big attitude and rage problem. Luckily, he gets along with the two friendly cockatails he shares a cage with.(they were meant to replace Lulu...no.) Brownie & Blackie -These two were the first memebers of our pet family. I felt they should be up amongst the others. Coffee - My family has adopted the squirrel that "borrows" the fruit from our back yard trees |
