Please note here! I am not a handwriting expert and this was something that I did just for fun. All information that I have gotten and put on this page has been taken from a book, that anyone can buy and see for themselves, called “Handwriting Analysis Putting It to Work for You” by Andrea McNichol. The book, by Andrea McNichol, can be purchased on any web site that sells books. I do encourage it because it is fun and educational!
A little information before I begin on handwriting analysis. Handwriting analysis is not like fortunetelling! It is an exact science of reading personality traits that one sends out in his or hers own handwriting. I have often looked not only at Gratton’s own handwriting over the years but others of his family as well and was incredibly surprised how accurate it was with actual historical documentation and historians accounts. Also, I thought that by putting this type of information out on the web for others to see it may inspire young and old, that are history buffs much like myself, to get more involved in history. It is so heart breaking to hear people that are young say that they feel history is boring and they never go any deeper than what is taught in our schools. I also think that by teaching others to get outside of those class rooms and research many historical figures you learn more and it is more satisfying and educational for oneself.
When first starting out, to intensify my research on the Daltons, one of the first pieces of documentation that I got was a copy of a letter for a writ to be sent that Grat had wrote in 1888 in Indian Territory which you see here below. One way of getting into his mind and personality was through handwriting analysis which is used in legal and crime scene investigations even today. Why handwriting analysis? For the simple reason that I had not at that time read that much on the Daltons and I was very curious to unlock some of Gratton's personality to see if it were really true what historians said about him.
I have created links below that will describe different parts of Grat's handwriting and personality traits through handwriting analysis. Each one of those traits that you see goes exactly with his personaliy profile that so many of the books, articles, documentation and DVD's that you see validate. Enjoy!
Please check back as this page is under construction and the information on it will be added in the future.
