President & Instructor: Broderick Best
Mr. Best has been a barber since 1988, the year he earned his degree in Barber Science from Harris Barber College. Mr. Best has served as Barber Instructor at various barber colleges throughout North Carolina since 1999, while also working as a Platform Artist and Continuing Education Instructor. He earned a Master of Theology degree from Christian Life School of Theology in 2004. Mr. Best currently owns Grace College of Barbering.
Instructor: Anthony Douglas
Mr. Douglas attended Harris Barber College, Johnston Technical College for Cosmetology, and Rivella Beauty College. He taught at Harris Barber College, D2 Barber College, Sherrills University for Barber and Cosmetology, Sandford Barber College, Regency Barber College, and Raleigh Institute of Cosmetology. He has been a barber instructor for 20 years. He enjoys helping minds hungry for knowledge. His main goal is to produce qualified, professional barber stylists.
Office Manager & Liaison: Alexandra Reddick
Ms. Reddick has been a part-time Technical Assistant with Pitt Community College for 4 years. She currently works with Continuing Education & Community Development Division. She became a part of the Barber College family in September of 2007 as Office Manager.
Administrative Assistant: Cynethia Gillispie
Mrs. Gillispie has a BS in Urban & Regional Planning with concentrations in Accounting & Public Finance and Decision Science from East Carolina University. She has worked with ECU's Regional Development Institute, Convergys, and, most recently, Grace College in various roles of customer service, office support, and public relations.
