~Hello,

Just a quick reminder.

The scarling. 3 song CD Band Aid Covers The Bullet Hole is available online now at these select websites.

http://www.sympathyrecords.com http://www.amazon.com

SCARLING. Band Aid Covers The Bullet Hole EP (SFTRI 716 CD) Roughly two years ago, guitar noise theorist Christian Hejnal and former Jack Off Jill singer Jessicka bonded over an unbridled hatred of the legion of clinging parasites and soulless zombies choking the life out of the music. The duo found like minded souls in Garey Snider, Ricky Lime and Kyle Lime and set out to redress the balance as Scarling. Taking up their crusade, Sympathy brings you Band Aid Covers The Bullet Hole, a three-track CD single that should be considered the first shot fired in the quintet's War On Mediocrity. The disc contains two Scarling. originals addressing loss ("Band Aid?") and the uneasy relationship between chemicals and personality ("H/C"), along with a wondrously damaged cover of Radiohead's venerable "Creep," that would bring tears of joy to Thom Yorke's creamy eye.

One more thing: The reason there is a period after the band's name is because after all the music you've heard, Scarling. remain the last word that resonates. Grab your coat, because it's time for you to fall in love with music again.

This CD will be available in stores on December 10th.

Also there's a fantastic review of the new CD in issue # 20 of Status Magazine. Pick it up or order it online here: http://www.statusinc.com

~It's not a big one, but at it's an update nonetheless.

There's a scarling. photo and a few Jessicka quotes featured in this month's Alternative Press. (with Thursday & Thrice on the cover) The article is on page 60 entitled "Goth Damn" by Jason Bracelin. It's on news stands from now until November 5. It also features quotes from such dark rock luminaries as Interpol, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dave Vanian & Patricia Morrision from the Damned, and "Goth" matriarch Siouxsie Sioux.
