Stull Cemetery had an abandoned church in Lawrence Kansas that has been said to be one of the six gateways to hell. The story is that the devil had a child with a local witch. The witch was hung in a tree and the boy was killed. The tree that she was hung from fell over and opened a gateway to hell. The stairs to the basement of the church lead to the gateway. Many stories say that a large group of people went out into the cemetery on Halloween and the next day they were found all slaughtered. Witnesses report a demon like creature watching them from the doorway of the abandoned church on the hill of the cemetery. Also said that any object thrown into the church regardless of what it is, you will never hear it hit the ground. Another story is that you will see the devils face in the walls of the church and if you throw a beer bottle against the walls inside of the church it will not break. Unfortunly recently the church has been torn down but by whom, no one knows. The cemetery owner(s) didn't have the church torn down.
