It's the end of the school year as we know it...:

Saturday. June 14. 2004.

... And I feel fine. Oh the last day was something. I colored my hair blue, wore normal clothes, and the like. I was at school for only the first 5 periods, which were pretty fun/ny. PROGIEs kept finding people and going "Hey /person\ you're so fine! You're so fine you blow my mind! Hey /person\! Hey /person\!" That was funny. After 5th we convinced Chrisco to drive us to the BART station, which we took to Frisco. It was cool, just Andre, Jenny, Michael, Leandra, Sarah, and myself. Too bad Danny couldn't come, and now he's moving to San Jo?!? Why didn't he tell me?

Well, we goofed off at Vicky's Secrets, Villa Pizza, etc. you can see pictures here. After a bucket of fun, we watched Italian Job. The other thought it was good, but Sara and I were kinda bored. I feel asleep like three times. Must be a Scorpio thing haha. After that, we walked around, went to Urban Outfitter's, Nordstrom's again, and went home. It was pretty cool.

Jenny R. and I are on speaking terms again, even though neither of us remembered just why we weren't before... Hahaha Just in time too. Tomorrow I'm off to the Philippines, and tomorrow she's off to Mexico. Great timing.

Well, readers, it's been fun, but Ima go pack for the PI. If I find the time to update while I'm back home, I will. Until then, later days.

:Sing a Song:

Quote of the Day:

Me: Do it!
Andre: No!
Me: I will if you will!
Leandra: OMGosh you sound like my cousins.

Been a while:

Tuesday. June 10. 2004.

Time to update. Sorry about that. It's just a lot has been going on, and the blog hasn't been very high priority. You know, finals and all.

So I went to the cultural festival Saturday. It was pretty nice. Kathy, Eric, etc were doing their forms, and it was really cool. Then they did a fight scene to Linkin Park. Haha. All in all, the Kung-fu part was good, except their Sifu Carl accidentally got starbursts in my hair when they threw candy during the lion dance. When Garcia's Dojo was doing their sets, they kept smiling, so their form was off. Still cool, though. Everyone was there. Even Sean Reuyan, who I haven't seen for a while. After he and Brandon, Chad, and Almay went off, Niki and I won whips! Whoo nice bullwhips... Well, she won a whip, mine was a pity whip because the carny was nice. When we went back to that game, Eric won a sword for Kenton and a whip for Krisha. He's hella nice. How can Jenny/Yun/etc say he's such an asshole? He's a cool guy, guy.

After that, we headed to San Jose to see Auntie Lete. Long lost auntie. Cool story too. When she was young, her dad left the house and went crazy and died or something, so when the police were writing up the report, they didn't know how to spell their last name, Hubilla. They spelled it Jobelia. So years later, Auntie comes over to look for us in the states for a while, and in this one town, Uncle boy starts talking to his friends about looking for her. He's been looking for her since High School. Wow. So, his friends were all, "Lete? That's her daughter right there!" So it's nice, we have more family... Like we really need it though haha. The party was pretty cool.

Today was "Shaun Day." Samantha, Lauren, Stella, and Niki were all dressed in black haha. That was pretty nice of them. According to Sammy V, tomorrow is Avril day, also. I wanna see what that's going to be like. We've kinda got this thing for Thursday. If she eats all this Balut on Thursday, she can paint my nails blue on Friday. Oh yeah, I've decided to wear all blue this year, instead of white or yellow or green or anything. Save that for junior year.

I got a book yesterday. Teach Yourself Vietnamese: A Complete Course for Beginners. It's really easy to learn with this book. And Vietnamese is a really nice language to learn. I've wanted to learn ever since I saw Sarah Michelle Gellar speak it in Cruel Intentions, haha... Hrm. Look at that. Brandon's learning Spanish, and is probably going to learn Tagalog, and here I am learning French, and studying Vietnamese. Hrmm... Interesting. "Why Vietnamese? Why not Tagalog?" You say? I wanna learn a tonal language, and even though Mandarin Chinese has less tones that Vietnamese, I don't want to learn all those characters. Vietnamese, on the other hand, uses a modified Latin Alphabet. Phew, that's much easier. I figure that I can always learn Tagalog later, like at college. At Auntie Lete's party, there was this white guy that was speaking really good Tagalog (Mormon of course). So if he can learn that late in life, why can't I?

Outtro: I'm gonna leave for the Philippines on Saturday. I'll be back anytime from 2 weeks to a month. Don't miss me too much!

:Sing a Song:

Quote of the Day:

Leandra: This is an A and B conversation, so leave!

Brandon: What do you call shitting when you're talking to someone?
Me: I say blasting an ass-rocket.
Brandon: I say sacrificing an African child to the porcelain idol.

Munmun was Funfun!:

Tuesday. June 3. 2004.

Model UN was hella cool! The girls were hot, the activities were fun, everything was perfect! Well, almost perfect. I found out how funny Kiran is at MUN. We tried jacking an EZ Go, but then we found out that we needed a key. Damn! Haha, Jamba juice was so funny, the girls couldn't stop talking about how hot the Jamba Juice guy was. Kiran was also hitting on m everybody at MUN. Even that guy I told her was gay. She didn't believe me... At first HAHAHA. Moded! She's funny... There was a scavenger hunt thing going on, and since all us PROGIEs were there, we grouped up, and we won 2nd place! Hella fun on the way too. Singing songs, hitting on the "agents," hella cool... PROGIEs were the only ones to win anything for Herk Hi over there heheh... I am definitely going to the next Munmun

I wore my hair in a ponytail today because I promised Megan... She stole my Carmex and wouldn't give it back until I promised! It all happened in Joyce's car when she started putting her womanlipgloss on me when I was sleeping.... Grr. Most people didn't like it... All the chinese people haha... Some people thought it was cool... All the Filipino people heheh. Weird.

Leandra IM'd me earlier asking wth kinda music they were playing on Ms. Universe, what kinda crap I infected her mind with... So I switch to ch 3 and guess who's performing live for Ms. Universe? bond! I just remembered bond released their 2nd album not too long ago, so I just downloaded it all. If you listen to just one bond song in your life, listen to Gypsy Rhapsody. Hella trancy beats with it make it perfect.

I found out Lumpia is premiering this Sunday in DC! Wow... I also found out that it was shoing at UCDavis the Sat I was there... Damnit... I HAVE to go see this screening. But that might be a problem... Saturday I have to go to Dad's long lost cousin's party thing, and The cultural festival is this Saturday and Sunday only at Hercules... I guess I can have someone tape the festival, but I wanna see some old friends... But I really need to watch Lumpia... What should I do?

:Sing a Song:

Quote of the Day:

Niki: Whoa, Japan has booty sweat.

Japan and Spain: We must control/contain the FARC!

Leandra: OMGosh, Qatar is dancing at Katherine...

Katherine: I just had a jamba juice with a femme blast and I feel ready to take on the world!

Chris: It looks like an orgy in here...
Me: It smells like one, too.

Me: Are you hitting on South Africa?
Kiran: Yeah
Me: You know he's gay.
Kiran: No, he's not! He's got a thug face!
Me: Mexico's his bf!
... Time passes...
Kiran: Damnit, he is gay!

Kevin: Maybe chairman Mao had three balls... If you can subtract a ball, why can't you add one?
