† THE WOUNDS †

Francis Reyes - vocalist
Joel Pangan - guitarist
Jon Canda - bassist
Mario Zialcita - drummer
Samuel Vigilia - keyboardist

Canda, Jon: The Bass player. Most popular (or is he the only one?) of the band due to his "rookie appeal". Still studying as of 2002 but still manages to attend the weekly midnight madness at the rehearsal studio.

Pangan, Joel: From "SOLITUDE" band from which Samuel V. also came from. And before that it was the "SCUM" band. Definitely the solo guitarist for the band with his wide range of musical experience and theory. He used to play a lot of "prog" and metal music back in the 90's. Before he joined the band, he was thinking of forming an experimental band using his "scale-less theory". Which Samuel commented would have sounded like jazz and world mixed together with a little techno. During daytime, he's busy running his own gaming establishment.

Reyes, Francis: One of the most experienced from the band. Yes, he swallows. A true 'malt and barley' aficionado. Musically, he had several bands before like "APOSTATE". Also recorded an independent album with a couple of partners. He's known for the wallowing, haunting, dark, solid vocals he imparts on Five Wounds To Enter songs. An office guy. He's really working hard for the muses.

Vigilia, Samuel: With Joel P. from "SOLITUDE" band back in the 90's. Started writing after someone broke his heart in high school. And started composing music in college (1990's) after the "deprivation" and "personal pain" experiences he suffered, and unfortunately still suffers to this day. Only plays one instrument, (not the big trombone) the keyboard synthesizer. Hopes to buy a better, more high tech gear for the band's music by hustling for his daily wage somewhere along Taft Avenue, Manila. In between writing songs and working, he manages to find time to shop around for his other passion: Action Figures. Toys! Yup. The man has his very own citadel right inside his musty bedroom.

Zialcita, Mario: He made us move and made us so high with his theatrical drumbeats. A dreamer who first conceptualized the band's direction. He has a significantly large C.D. collection ranging from Toy Story movie sound track to Nick Cave. The number one recruiter for the band.
