Behold! The Nightmare

Please Your Ears

Hey everyone. I'm Brittany Snodgrass, from Tigard, Oregon. I'm just gonna say a few things, then you can explore my site if you want. Email me if you have any questions or whatever.

Ok, so if you don't know me and you didn't get the title of my site, my favorite band of all time is the Smashing Pumpkins. I've listened to them for as long as I can remember, since they started getting radio time I guess. Billy Corgan is my hero, seriously, I love him. He writes such good music, he's an individual and doesn't follow the mainstream or what other people do, he just does whatever he feels is right, and I like that. The music he writes, along with James Iha is great, inspiring and just good to listen to. I can relate to most all of their songs, even if I'm not interpreting them right. It's really awesome how you can hear a song and know it's Smashing Pumpkins within the first few seconds, they have their own distinct style, but none of their songs sound the same, they have variety. This is really hard to find these days, that's why I still stick to SP, they're never boring no matter how long you listen to them. I just love this band, they're awesome!

Another band I really like is Cold. They are so good!!! Really, if you've heard any of their songs, I think you will agree with me, right? They are probably my favorite band that is still together, you know since Smashing Pumpkins broke up I need a band I can keep up with that puts out new stuff. So, what is great about Cold is, well, everything. I love the instrumental stuff, the guitar parts are awesome! I want to learn how to play all of their songs, I already know a few, but that's not good enough... hehe. I also absolutely love Scooter's voice. I don't know what it is about it, I just love it. Kind of like how I love Billy Corgan's voice, it just goes so well with the music and it really is pleasing to my ears. You know that feeling you get sometimes when you hear someone sing and you love it? That kind of shiver... That's what I get listening to Scooter and Billy. Also, Cold's style is awesome, not only their music style, but how they make their video's and how they dress, I'm really into that style.

As you can see, I love music, especially the Smashing Pumpkins and Cold. I also love my boyfriend, Rodney. He's a goth too, more so than me, but he's brought out my darker side. He is so sweet, kind, loving, caring, he's just the greatest person I have ever met. He makes me feel like I'm always wanted, cared for and loved, not something that most people can do. I love him so much!! And he loves me just as much as I love him. It's so great, I never thought I could find true love, but I have, and it's amazing that I found him at such a young age. We've been together since September 9th 2002, and I know we will be together for many more years to come, forever. He has seriously changed my life for the better, I'm more confident, even if it doesn't really seem like it, I like myself a little more, I'm working on it. He makes me feel good about myself, like no one else can. I've actually had one of my good friends tell me that he's changed me for the better, it's good that someone else notices. I would be so lost without him, like I was before I met him. But now I know I won't ever have to go back to feeling the way I did before Rodney and I were together, because we were meant for each other and will always be together. I feel complete, like he was the missing half of me. I'm still in awe of how great our relationship is, how perfect it is. I love you so much, Rodney, more than anything. You are my whole world, and I love you with all my heart, for all eternity. I love you!!
